I don't even have a ported head. I just smoothed the ports and gasket matched it. I am sure there is a lot of power to be had with a ported head. These heads flow like garbage. I think I could easily gain 20whp witha good port job. that sucks and is awesome to hear all at once... im glad it will be...

the cx racing/ssac/ebay stuff can be decent. but it is a very very generic setup. its not persay bad but it definatally isnt optimized. a friend has a 1993 civic hatch (painted pink) cheapest ebay setup he could and tunign with crome (free software). car puts down 285 fwhp on stock sohc motor and ev...

knockoff bov's are fine... compressor surge comes from idiots not knowing how to adjust a bov properly.

are u boosted? in a stock ka its going to lope at idle a little and move power band up yes. would also recomend gutting your intake to help with air flow. gains will not be as significant as if you were boosted but will definatally help. and if u are planning on boosting i say a cam is a must.

If you wanna make a track car with a full cage I agree with you for gutting the car. Even if your car is super clean, don't slow down your project. It's not like 240SX are going to be collectors car. he means bell mouth the other way think velocity stack coming off the turo getting bigger as it goes away from the turbo. if done right it speeds up exhaust gasses coming out of the turbo and creates a small suction affect. and u do have a choice on internally gated turbos.. there are a lot of optio...
