I started a thread May 2010 on the ECCS forum asking for interest in running a KA24E with a 16bit ECU and TunerCode and didn't get enough interest to justify a full development. There are quite a few code mods necessary to make it work.

Moates is developing a new real time board that will program much like a stand alone with Nismotronic and TunerCode. More info here: http://www.sr20-forum.com/tunercode/456 ... oards.html

Re: Chip Tuning
This is kinda along the same line as what you guys are doing but I want to find out what I need to add a pre-tuned chip to my ecu. I don't think I need Calum or Nistune or anything like that, I just want to be able to run a rom tuned chip in my ecu. Do I need a " daughter board" or someth...

If you intend to run closed loop (using O2 sensor for feedback), then you can only tune (modify) the open loop portion of the fuel map. Changes made to the closed portion of the fuel map will be tuned back to 14.7 AFR by the feedback control. If you want to run open loop all the time, then you must ...

Interesting point. I haven't noticed this phenomenon, but theres also map tracing in Nissan Datascan with the consult cable. Does the maptracing feature on datascan suffer from the same deficiencies? It's reading right off of the ECU... The reason you haven't noticed the phenomenon is probably beca...

There are a number of problems using this method to log and map trace with one TP value. The ECU calculates a TP value based on the MAF sensor, RPM, and K constant, however this is not necessarily the TP used with the fuel and/or timing maps. Under certain conditions, TP comes from either the TPMin ...

You may want to watch out for Steve at Rom is Burning too. He is a TunerCode dealer, but hasn't payed for the TunerCode licenses he's sold.

Re: Help me Choose management!!!

The MAF should be grounded at one spot on the intake manifold. Having two ground points can cause problems. Dave I have to ask this, 'what do you mean?' A ground is a ground. Also the Intake is Aluminum, and that can't be a good ground. Maybe you can explain a little more in depth. No two ground po...

Nissan used purpose-built hardware to identify the cylinders and make use of the 360 slots, and the MegaSquirt doesn't have this but does have code to use the AEM-style or DSM-style CAS. The MS3 uses a fast enough processor that it can get around the need for dedicated hardware, but right now using...

Yes, exactly. You're just relocating the pins from where they were in the connector defined by the 240sx ECU, to the Consult pin locations in the ECU connector for the Stanza ECU. Those wires then become the Consult connections you need in the CHECK connector. Then cut the 5 wires you need for Consu...
