Interesting, so yeah it seems like you could get a bit more pressure by increasing that shim... the question is does the increase in pressure mean you're actually increasing the flow. Or are you really just marginally increasing flow while bumping up pressure. I have my timing cover off, I may pull ...

Hopefully I dont get much flack for posting a bunch of pictures... but I'm quite proud of the job my dad and I did on the garage we built at his house. It took a year and a half worth of weekends, but in the end was well worth it. Built summer '06 through the winter of '07, been working on 240's the...

I really wish I would have saw this earlier... as I was trying to find some information on recommended torque specs for the Cosworth head gasket I ran across a promotion cosworth is doing. I ran through there cart all the way to the payment and it was still just $110 Shipped for a Cosworth head gask...

If that's the case... I would imagine a Spec stage 3 might work? You probably wont be making near 380ftlbs with that CA would ya? If not they also make a stage 3+ that holds 485ftlbs and is still sprung. Its a little pricey at $475 shipped here in the states, a stage 3 can be had for right around $3...

Yeah good luck with finding a streetable stock sized clutch for that power level. I just switched from my ka stage 3 spec (rated 380ftlbs) and aluminum fidanza to a z32 na spec stage 3 (515ftlbs) and a D21 aluminum flywheel. You should look into something like that if you want to keep it streetable ...

As mentioned before you should have a flex pipe in your exhaust, preferably the down pipe. You can get them online for $35 shipped and have your local exhaust shop weld one in for you. This shouldn't happen just due to engine vibration, I'm with the guy up there that said it might be from contributi...

I guess we can disagree on some things, but I personally like to know how the entire car is setup in respect to being able to make the power and put the power to the ground. This is why I think at bare minimum having the clutch/trans setup is needed. Also the tires thing is nice when you see a time....

Correct, and I would add all my info and past setups to this list. My dad also has a well put together moderate T2 setup I could add to the list. I'm just saying include as much info as possible for people, rides link and simple info in sig. Someone get it started and get supakat on board or another...

This idea is kind of already on the site right? http://www.ka-t.org/rides.php ? I like this idea but if there were a way to keep updating the rides section that would seem pretty helpful. I'm pretty sure all of those are a few years out of date though, and I'm not sure who that is active here would ...

Did you find my info on it? I love this manifold, it allows you to easily make a cold air intake for the turbo, get their downpipe combo too... It fits perfect with the floor board. I will forewarn you, they weren't the best with making the flanges. Some slight grinding will need down on the downpip...

Thanks for the input. Once I get my engine back and mostly assembled I will mock up my IAT sensor, I'm thinking as far away from the head as possible to avoid the heat soak, even though aluminum transfers heat very well  I can't use my egr block off because I noticed while doing boost leak test...

I see your problem now that you have posted a picture of your bay and I can see how your turbo is mounted (in my head I was still picturing a T2 style setup like mine) Either way where is this line going? This is the one I have my coolant returning into after the turbo. It runs pretty level with a s...

Hmm, sounds basically the same as my setup. Where is your coolant line going that runs next to the upper nipple next to the rad hose out of the head there? Just run that to your turbo back behind the head? I used this on the block, then ran -6 lines to the turbo on both this fitting and the nipple o...

I'm also curious about your turbo coolant feed/return. I'm switching mine to the exhaust side of the block and that small line coming off behind the upper rad hose... the one that runs next to it. I figure that way it will want to continue cooling after shut down since the exhaust side of the block ...
