Interesting, so yeah it seems like you could get a bit more pressure by increasing that shim... the question is does the increase in pressure mean you're actually increasing the flow. Or are you really just marginally increasing flow while bumping up pressure. I have my timing cover off, I may pull ...

Hope this helps some others.

I'm hoping the GT2876R (48lb/min compressor) will make roughly those same number on meth/850cc injectors. I'd love to be able to run a consistent 11.5 for a local drag racing class.

If that's the case... I would imagine a Spec stage 3 might work? You probably wont be making near 380ftlbs with that CA would ya? If not they also make a stage 3+ that holds 485ftlbs and is still sprung. Its a little pricey at $475 shipped here in the states, a stage 3 can be had for right around $3...

Yeah good luck with finding a streetable stock sized clutch for that power level. I just switched from my ka stage 3 spec (rated 380ftlbs) and aluminum fidanza to a z32 na spec stage 3 (515ftlbs) and a D21 aluminum flywheel. You should look into something like that if you want to keep it streetable ...

As mentioned before you should have a flex pipe in your exhaust, preferably the down pipe. You can get them online for $35 shipped and have your local exhaust shop weld one in for you. This shouldn't happen just due to engine vibration, I'm with the guy up there that said it might be from contributi...

I guess we can disagree on some things, but I personally like to know how the entire car is setup in respect to being able to make the power and put the power to the ground. This is why I think at bare minimum having the clutch/trans setup is needed. Also the tires thing is nice when you see a time....

I'm sure he got back to ya but to update the thread, I believe the last one is undersized and doesn't actually contact the cam journals. So if there were a hole in the cam back there you would loose a significant amount of oil pressure since it would just be free flowing.
