hmm i think you would have to sit there with a carton of smokes before ya see any escape. I dont know i know seafoam thins out the oil so idk. Maybe unbolt your turbo and run it real fast. lol.

Yeah but like he even said in the thread. He found some leaks that his smoke test didnt find. You can try sea foam thru the brake booster hose and look around for any smoke besides the exhaust lol

To test for leaks, I took my whole brake booster line off caped one end and blew air into the other side and checked if it held pressure. Another way to do it is cap one end and put it under water just have the other end about the wate and blow air into it and look for bubbles.

Only real problem i see you might having is those vaccum lines so close or touching the turbo mani and burning thru.

If you run a twin scroll turbo with a open manifold then this should work. It would allow you to close off one volute on the turbine housing and direct all engine air flow to the open volute, essentially dividing The A/R of the turbine housing. have you ran run? i know the acura rdx run a pretty similar spool valve in there turbo and it hits 13lbs right off the bat. i was just wondering if anyone has used both with a dyno graph to show the differennce in twin scroll and spool valve

Thanks weird that they say to tq them down to 75-80ftlbs. I thought it was 90 on all of them besides the undercut one.
