I have spoken to Don at PDM, I asked him about OBDII and emissions. He told me that PDM's ECU tune shouldn't affect the OBDII part since the engine still uses all of the stock sensors. It's just a daughter board that is soldered to you stock ECU. I was told it would be about $500 for the tune. Extra...

I have Supertech oversized valves, with Supertech dual springs rated at 225 @ 11.80 lbs/mm, Supertech titanium seats and retainers. I also have the PDM stage 2 turbo cams.

My engine is going installed in a few weeks. Should be a lot of fun.

I was reading somewhere that MAP is more accurate (maybe I read that wrong  ). But that is the reason I was asking. I do want to run a open BOV so I will be trying to understand the blowthru setup better.

I'm not sure. I see them being sold for $750-$995. I was thinking about $650. The turbo is brand-spanking-new. It has the actuator already plumbed into the compressor housing. I don't really want to use this turbo since I am looking for 300-400 whp. I bought the turb not knowing what size it was (be...

MAP on stock ECU?

Hi all.
Is it possible to switch to using a MAP sensor while using the stock ECU?

Thanks.
