ECU overwriting nistune information (changing k value?)

Interesting problem here... Running a '95 ecu with a type 3 board in a '98 car with repinned harness. 750cc/n62/60 trim. Car has been professionally tuned and besides a few idle down issues was running great, afrs were spot on for part throttle and wot. Recently the afrs have dropped significantly i...

This is probably a really dumb simple question, but I will be completely honest-- I know next to nothing about tuning which is why I am taking my car to a professional tuner. I purchased a used ecu with a type 3 board already installed-- I'd like to go ahead and install it in my car before I drive t...

If you have never noticed this before it's also possible you damaged your wastegate diaphragm. Try an MBC and see if it helps

for a wideband sensor you should have it between 12 and 30" away from the turbo. for the ecu o2 sensor it's fine right there. no problems for 3+ years

Do you think the JGS manifold would work for my setup and clear the p/s reservoir? http://jgsturbo.com/kamain.html#anchor69878 Should have bought one that was positioned more towards the ftont of the motor. What manifold and turbo are you using silviaks2nr? I am using a rev hard manifold which has ...

the thing about these conversions is they never look good straight off the shelf. the fenders will take a lot of work to look factory... IMO it's best to use all metal fenders for this conversion, as well as oem lights. Put the bumper on, get it painted, and take some new pictures

3" holesaw should do the trick. if you want to break all the spot welds and remove it you can. I was bored and pulled mine all the way out.

36" should be able to go in the front of the motor. just zip tie it to the dizzy harness there. you will need a 48" to go behind the motor

you are going to have hood clearance issues i bet. My on center exhaust housing almost touches the hood on my s14 and it's bolted directly to the manifold. Maybe your best bet is to purchase a different housing and re-use the cartridge and compressor.

your pcv valve vacuum hose connects directly to the intake manifold. You are probably talking about the really small 1/8" line under the throttle body. Simply block it off. The only thing you need to connect to the coldpipe is the iacv hose.

My stock clutch lasted about 2 years daily driving around 8lbs. It eventually did start to slip under boost... so I would not recommend keeping it. I replaced it with a south bend TZ2 clutch, which grabs great, holds the power I need it to, and retains stock pedal feel. I recommend south bend if you...

I think it's stupid on a 2.4l. There will not be enough exhaust pressure to make it worthwhile. on a 5 or 6 liter car it works, but even then it would be more ideal to have it mounted close to the head(s). heat = pressure = efficiency

do you have ebay intercooler piping? did you wash it out before you installed it? ebay pipes always have metal shavings and oil in them. As for the return line, do you have a picture of it? perhaps you tapped the pan too low, or your line isn't in a direct enough path. Do you have the coolant lines ...
