I got those lower extended mounts too. You can oblong the bottom hole a little more if you'd like. It's almost the same as adding a smaller diameter bolt in that top hole. But don't do both, I personally don't recommend it, but that's just me. One or the other. My $.02

Glad to hear that PayPal is finally looking at these disputes. Back in the day, you could just say you didn't get what you paid for, or say you didn't receive it, and they would totally screw over the seller immediately with no questions asked. I need to add that disclaimer to all my transactions fr...

I cheated and pulled the 2nd plug from the filter adapter on the block, then tapped it to NPT threads. But the motor was out.

If I ever did it again, it's a sandwich adapter. Didn't have them back in my day lol

You need to get someone with a Nistune ECU, and tune it in real time. Then take that tune for your car, and burn your chips with that tune and put your ECU back in. That's all I can offer. I went around and around for like 3 years with burning chips and now that I have Nistune, I can't ask for anyth...

OP, sent you a PM back. Sorry I've not been on that much as of lately. As always, there are exceptions or special situations where the 'norm' isn't applicable. Sometimes you are ok with std aftermarket bearings on a good crank. Other times, it's a little too far out. Or we can even blame the bearing...

There are little freeze-plug looking jobby's in the head. I can't judge how small that is by the picture. Need a penny or a quarter for reference.

And the broken ring, I have no idea. Gotta ponder about that one.

I did redrill the gears, but it took like 11 or 12 tries I think. It wasn't worth the time and effort. Having to reinstall everything and degree crap. Try just checking the shim clearance. I don't see why you're locking up the motor by not changing shims. Tons of people have just tossed in cams and ...

I can't really help, but I can give some insight.
I was well over 6k RPM's with a J30 diff and my GPS said 154 MPH.

3.90 gearing I think, correct me if I'm wrong. As compared to 4.08 stock gears.

This all of course happened on a closed course 8)

HKS v3 BOV (vented to atmosphere) ^ that's your problem I think. It might be holding open at idle too much. I don't know if it can be adjusted or not, I'm not familiar with them. But it's good practice to recirculate them. They typically go crazy rich, not lean if I'm not mistaken... But that's my ...

Check where the consult plugs into the factory connector. Sometimes those things are a bit crappy. I had to mess with mine for a while to get a constant connection.
