Glad to hear that PayPal is finally looking at these disputes. Back in the day, you could just say you didn't get what you paid for, or say you didn't receive it, and they would totally screw over the seller immediately with no questions asked. I need to add that disclaimer to all my transactions fr...

You need to get someone with a Nistune ECU, and tune it in real time. Then take that tune for your car, and burn your chips with that tune and put your ECU back in. That's all I can offer. I went around and around for like 3 years with burning chips and now that I have Nistune, I can't ask for anyth...

OP, sent you a PM back. Sorry I've not been on that much as of lately. As always, there are exceptions or special situations where the 'norm' isn't applicable. Sometimes you are ok with std aftermarket bearings on a good crank. Other times, it's a little too far out. Or we can even blame the bearing...

I did redrill the gears, but it took like 11 or 12 tries I think. It wasn't worth the time and effort. Having to reinstall everything and degree crap. Try just checking the shim clearance. I don't see why you're locking up the motor by not changing shims. Tons of people have just tossed in cams and ...

Sucks to hear. Is the block cracked under the knock sensor? It looks like that, I am on my phone so not sure. No, it's not cracked. It's the plastic that melted and dripped down the block. The block is in good shape, checked and rechecked. It's the head that is turned into a horseshoe. Not that bad...

Got everything torn down, and it looks like just the head is warped a bit. Just needs cut and a new gasket and should be good to reassemble. But I still want to get rid of it. If anyone wants the whole car, shoot me a PM. I really don't want to part it out, I don't have the time or energy. I'm askin...

This would be an awesome option if it were externally gated. I know when I hacked up my cheapo ebay manifold and put an external gate on it, my 3076R in a T2 rocked my KA. It was like driving a V-8 with instant spool and high end flow. Lots of neat stuff coming about for the KA now. I'm happy there ...

Re: KADET25 stalling when clutch-in
HKS v3 BOV (vented to atmosphere) ^ that's your problem I think. It might be holding open at idle too much. I don't know if it can be adjusted or not, I'm not familiar with them. But it's good practice to recirculate them. They typically go crazy rich, not lean if I'm not mistaken... But that's my ...

I'm going with maybe a cracked weld somewhere on something? I bet it's something that's loose! lol That's all I got. I know I had a weird rattle/buzz like that when I didn't bolt the bottom part of the spacer that goes between the motor and the trans. That thing gave me hell for a while until I figu...

Yeah I did have a few issues with the Blaster SS coil on my twin cam. I left it hooked up to stock wiring and it really didn't make that much of a difference. I think I actually had to close up the gap on my plugs if i remember correctly. I ran a 12ga wire to her with a good relay and it really help...

I personally made a block off for that bottom port that used to go to the PCV and tapped a nipple to run to a catch can. Free'd up some space on that side of the motor. But I have both parts if you want me to see about shipping them over to you. Just PM me your address and I'll check postage next ti...

If you're worried about the amount taken off just counter it with a thicker head gasket. This, its what I did with mine. I'm running a 1.8mm Cometic iirc ^ Hells yeah, I've been running massively thick gaskets for a few years. I like low compression! It just sucks sometimes because they have to mak...

Not sure on those wheels, but some aluminum wheels have like a 'seat' that is knurled pressed into the wheel for the lug nuts so you don't tighten them and squish the aluminum. Maybe someone took those out? Does it look like something was in there at one point? Hard to tell by the pics. Anyways, tha...
