even if hangers are made to fit... arent the wheel bases different?? and i know for a fact the gas tanks are so that may get in ur way.

im thinking im going to do the ka just not go all out... do a mildly ported head and stage 2 cam but keep hydrolic lifters as to save the money. ls1 really doesnt apeal to me... i had a v8 240sx and it was fun but i really prefer the power delivery of a 4 cyl.

thats my thought.,.. i have 3 240sx's (2 are mine 1's the gf's) the other 2 are ca18det's... one basic t28 bolt on mod 250rwhp and the other is my monster big turbo ca build.... after doing those swaps the cleanliness of the stock engine is kind of nice. so thats my debate. but i'll probably end up ...

4g63... mated to a t-56. have the race motor from back when i was drag racing dsm's... now i know there is a lot of hate out there for that particular type of car but i personally have never had a problem with an engine i built, transmission, axles, other random crap sure lol. but never had an engin...

So the 2 plans i need to debate between.... 1. O&J lifters/cam/valve springs, rods and forged pistons (8.8:1), light weight fly...

as per the regrind i've wondered the same thing... i assumed u did it the way they make stroker cranks for 7mgte's... they weld extra material on it and then regrind.

oh hell... cause i can so put a dsm cas on my ca18det... i already test fitted it... stupid edis-4 has been a pain. u may have pm shortly for more info

number is saved in my cell phone... ehad is pulled apart stock cam and lifters are in a box ready to ship. i just dont have cash yet

awesome matt... so i assume that like the dsm pnp uses the stock cas??? i'm constantly told ms doesnt like cas's... i hopemy information is incorrect it wouldmake my next ca install a lot easier than running edis-4.

what valve springs do u use??? i have never been able to find ones specifically for the sohc

i would say it would be a good turbo. ive thought about it on a jgs mani... u can find 16g's used for 200$ ish and they can make 300+ wheel so why not.

i love my ms-1 v 3.0 on my ca18det... id love a p&p for my other ca (harness was what i hated making the most) and one for my sohc if possible.

im going through the smae calculations right now jordan... trying to hit a goal power wise and stillhave a turbo that will spool with the tires spinning.... little ca is awesomewith traction but falls out too easy once the tires are sinning.

god i love your car... i swear when i upgrade from s13 to s14 im so doing one ka24e and another ca18det.

this is actually one of the better ones ive found. there are some pretty quick and nicely setup cars here... i would forget na thouhg... ka's are nto strong NA motors

i've had the best luck with diesle specific forums... cause to those guys its the equivelent of a stock sr turbo to us. yeah it works but everyone wants bigger so resale is low

lol personla preference i guess... also a fulltime student... made 25k last year going to make maybe 15 this year since i went back to school... and yeah building a racecar on my money sucks but it can happen.

according to the dsm guys, and my own math, a twin scroll with an hx35 will make it spool significantly faster. but i agree at that point u can get a lot better more efficient turbo.

t70 isnt THAT big and it is a twin scroll...on a proper manifold it should seepositive preasure by 4500

yeah i feel u... i did mostly the same thing with my project. it came with a sil front i sold the front to fund my suspension. looks good man. i agree with changing that filter and location... u are gettingnothing but hot air
