much , much quieter....!!!! :D also better for the preservation of your "underhood components"...... all the exhaust gases tend to rust metal parts faster than not...... if you want it really quiet you can run it into your exhaust, but it's easier to just run it straight to the ground........

once the old pilot bushing is out of the crank, just put the new one in and lightly tap it in with a mallet or a hammer w/ a cloth over it...... you don't want to damage the edge, and also make sure it goes in straight..... "that needle-like thing......" I think you're refering to the alig...

not sure about the wiring but the bottom radiator hose on the KA24DE does not have a water temp sensor on it.... I would just match the colors and leave the other 2 there, at worst case scenario you have to switch your connectors or jumper them..... trial and error, trial and error ........ !!! good...

In all reality, you can find out pretty much anything you need to know via the internet, it is a beautiful thing. Questions are nice, but research is a better teacher than any person on a messageboard. That's why countless hours of my time have been spent ADD'd out on the internet, with friends and ...

I like the feel of the OEM flywheel, but there's nothing like an aluminum. Though keep in mind, the less rotating mass, the faster rpm's rise and fall, to me, that's where driving gets fun! That's just my opinion, but I truly love my fidanza..... even better paired with an aluminum driveshaft... but...

might I ask if that turbo is internally wastegated? If not, that is another area you do not want to cheap out. tial makes a good proven wastegate. could most likely get a used one for 150. 200 new. Also, not that it really matters so much at 7psi, but you may want to consider a z32 mafs. check your ...

I would agree with coating the downpipe instead of wrapping it. As far as the brake reservoir goes, the mitsubishi eclipse uses a hose-type reservoir instead of a fixed position one like on the ka. This enables the reservoir to be moved as far as the hose can reach (about 4-5 inches). I tucked mine ...

I don't know about the enthalpy tuned ecu, but I do know what i've seen... On a stock motor, for some reason, the rings have proven afew times to go pretty quick. On my buddy's first setup, we used 370's, an safc, z32 MAFS, and a walbro 255. He made 394 ft. lbs. @ 14psi, drove it home from the dyno,...

that was basically already answered here, conclusion was.... the stock ka rods are fine as long as you aren't trying to boost 30 lbs. race duty... i would say go with crowers, but thats simply my opinion. good luck.

i love my flywheel. period. a little sicker to get used to, but well worth it. my revs rise and fall so quick it's not even a joke. of course with an underdrive pulley and a lightened driveshaft as well. If you like doing sideways burnouts then my setup is for you. haha.
