Sava, the ignition system on the Ka is painfully simple. Do your basic tests and check the whole system out. If everything comes back ok, then its most likely your coil going out i guess, but iv never even heard of an internal s14 coil going out. They can get fried by things, but never just failing...

It should burp the system And, are you using straight water? I would use at least some anti freeze. It will decrease the rate of evaporation of ...

Ah, good point. s-14 did you manually retard the timing? I would just loosen the bolt and adjust by playing with the rotation.LigouriRd. wrote:When my car was na since I ran premium anyway, I used to have the distributor cranked to about 25° base timing. You could be off a tooth or on one of the sprockets.

I don't think that its the MAF (although it could be). If it was working fine before disconnecting the hot pipe, then its the safc tune. You need to retune the fuel curve. it should be running rich, but the 13-14 a/f you said before tells me that it is a little on the lean side. What rpm was that ag...

that good news lol i thought maybe somethings wrong with my fuel pump at first. There might be quite a bunch of fuel in my lines from doing a compression test besides the fuel filter change, but not sure if that was the reason because i pulled my fuel pump fuse and harness connector on the distribu...

If I had a picture I would have posted it. This gasket is not in the FSM and I CANNOT find a pic of someones block with this in one of the coolant holes. I described where I think it goes and what it looks like decently. Anyone that has done their own head gasket job should know what gasket/grommet...
