I took my block to a machine shop. I went .020 over. Machinest suggested it to make sure the cylinders were 1000% true. Thanks man. 3 august I'll be home again. New water pump gasket, fixing tstat leak, getting exhaust finished. Then time for more break in driving. After a few miles and an oil change, ill go get emissions done. I'm happy :) I also need to wire in oil pressure gauge..ugh dont feel like doing that lol....

I can have mine made to fit for about $80, and ive already had 2 o2 bungs welded. I need a total of 3, including wideband. I am doing my best to stay emissions compliant. Itll just be cheaper to have mine made to fit

Pretty sure there isint an oem rebuild kit out there. FRsport/rockauto was my good friend during my rebuild. Just buy an oem oil pump, water pump, osk timing kit, some new rings and bearings and such. Your rebuild can be as extensive as you want to go on it.

So I have the turbo installed on the car now, and damn it gets hot. Will a turbo blanket really help with my under hood temps, or should I spend $100 on a BMC heat shield?
