Mine has been ticking more or less since it went on. Maybe I overtightened the belt. Either way nissan will warranty it for 12 months/ 12,000 miles.

It is oem from nissan. And no they aren't that cheap, $75 i believe. I just find it hard to believe a new nissan pump rattles with only a few hundred miles on it. Not to mention the expensive coolant mixture.

Water pump noise

Ok so I have a fresh rebuild, including a new oem water pump. At first I thought it was timing chain rattle, because thats what it sounds like. But after removing the water pump belt while running I found that its the brand new pump rattling. Do I really need to replace it again? What might have cau...

I thought about the thermal spacers, but I am not sure how well it will seal up. Besides don't wanna have to worry about a boost leak there.

Actually you have to use one on the top, and one on the bottom, while plugging the second on the bottom. And the car is finally doing better, still breaking in the motor but she goes!

Yeah I have a new 39mm and I am sure it is the same. It has the 3 ports, 1 on top and 2 on the bottom, I believe the 2 on the bottom are just to have an option in case of a tight fit you can use whichever is convenient. It shows on the manual to still run like normal, with 1 plugged with a manual bo...

Not sure how much help this will be because i am running low boost, but with bc stage2 cams i can reach 12 psi by 3900 rpm. I am running journal bearing with .63ar hotside. If you are aiming for 600-700hp, not that the 6262 wont do it but i would think thatd be an easier mark to hit with a slightly ...

I really hate to bring this thread back from the dead but..... Did you ever find out what the problem was or correct it? I just got my setup up and going and it's doing the same thing with jwt ecu and 780cc injectors. AFRs are fine everywhere EXCEPT at idle I am adding 20%+ just to keep it alive.

I don't have experience with felpro or cometic yet but here is how it was explained to me. Accidents can happen with boost and you will more than likely get detonation at some point. Having a felpro can make your headgasket blow before cracking a ringland, therefore acting as a sort of failsafe. Id ...
