Looking good so far! I believe I spent 15-20 hours slowly polishing mine.

Mine has been ticking more or less since it went on. Maybe I overtightened the belt. Either way nissan will warranty it for 12 months/ 12,000 miles.

They are made to fit altima ka's as well. The ends have to be grinded off.

Just got off the phone with courtesyparts. 12month 12,000 mile warranty, looks like I'll be doing that sometime soon.

It is oem from nissan. And no they aren't that cheap, $75 i believe. I just find it hard to believe a new nissan pump rattles with only a few hundred miles on it. Not to mention the expensive coolant mixture.

Ok so I have a fresh rebuild, including a new oem water pump. At first I thought it was timing chain rattle, because thats what it sounds like. I thought about the thermal spacers, but I am not sure how well it will seal up. Besides don't wanna have to worry about a boost leak there.

I really hate to bring this thread back from the dead but..... Did you ever find out what the problem was or correct it? I just got my setup up and going and it's doing the same thing with jwt ecu and 780cc injectors. AFRs are fine everywhere EXCEPT at idle I am adding 20%+ just to keep it alive.

Just get oem and you won't have any doubts. Simple as that.

Welcome man! I can tell you first hand a good ka kit will be faster and cheaper than a rb25 swap. A friend of mine has a 25 and couldnt touch me.

Can get in alot of trouble running vins for citizens. Call your local pd.
