Got the large return line to the pan with a proper bung taken care of. Is there a link to a picture you can show me about the restrictor? I am taken over this build as the former owner is no longer around to finish it, so I am starting with all the right parts, just trying to get a plan together. Th...

Oil filter relocation/ Mocal water cooled oil cooler

So I am trying to figure out the best way to mount these two components. Where is the best location for the filter bypass kit? Oil level? Upside down or rightside up? I have heard it is best to mount turbo filters at oil level to avoid draining oil back into the pan thus creating a lapse of oil in t...

Hey man, nice job on the build. You remind me of myself, blasting and painting all the brackets.. lol You might want to consider investing in a powder coating setup. I bought a gun from harbor freight and because the concept is so simple behind the guns it actually work excellently. I have done all ...

I already have ARP studs and a good headgasket on it. Not planning on pulling it off, as I know it was done correctly. Fel pro is actually what I was leaning for. Is there a thread that has the casting identification numbers so I can verify this block is the year I think it is?

Thanks for all the help you guys. I already had a zeitronix data logger, so I went with the Zeitronix LCD display that displays EGT,AFR, ambient temp, and Boost. Although the greddy electronic boost controller already has one, redundancy is a good thing right? Wannabethestig: is that panel som...

I need basically every gasket to take this motor from a long block to complete. That includes intake/exhaust mani, waterpump etc. I was wondering what brand you guys are g...

Completely understand that. Things happen fast, especially with boosted motors. I want to give myself the best fighting chance. I know some companies make individual cylinder EGT probes and motoring systems, just curious if they are utilized in these type of applications and if there is anything els...

What guages are you all running?

I will post more details of the Ka-t I am working on in the near future. It was a former members that I have been put in charge of finishing. It will have in the 450+ range and I want to make sure I am aware of any problems as soon as they arise. Boost, oil pressure are musts of course. But how many...
