Holset HY35 for $300 BUCKS ON EBAY. I had a GT2871R and made 365whp at 21psi on a SR20. They are great turbos but they cost $1100 and are not rebuildable. The HY35 has a 9cm2(.48 ar T3) hot side and will spool just as fast as a GT3071R .82ar and make 400whp and 400wtq at 20psi. http://www.ka-t.org/f...

Very impressive for 16lbs. get your fuel pump hardwired and I bet it fixes your leaning out. I had to when I got up to these power levels. If not it's in your tune. When you get the fuel fixed do another pull at 21psi and she will make 400whp and 425 wtq all day long. The HY35 chokes out past 21psi ...

That turbo can't push 500whp worth of air safely... TRY 654whp thru a AWD dyno on a DSM. Also about the same numbers on a 2Jz in europe. The holset HX40(pro) is 60mm compressor and a 65mm turbine. Proven to be capable of 69 lbs/min at 40psi thru the BEP t3 .70ar hot side. Sorry for bringing this ba...

My NGK afx always stayed around 14.8-15afr when ideling and stayed equally as lean in part throttle cruzing when not in boost but once the turbo spooled the afr's would go between 11.5-12.0 as normal. I had a JWT rom tune with a SAFC piggy backed and never had any issues. All turbo cars I've been in...

Better get ready to cut a hole in his hood. I had an out-e dent in mine frim my HX35 on a revhard log mani on my sr20. It would reach about 20psi in 1st but not quit open the gate and you had to flat foot shift it into 2nd to keep from falling on your face. But she trapped 123-124 in the 1/4 and mad...

You should be cuttin 1.7 or better. 20psi is to high(cold or hot?) I ran those tires for 2 years and I always started at 15psi cold and it would come back at almost 20psi after the burnout and I would let them down to 14-15psi again hot. then it was on. Even with the little GT2871R trapping at 116mp...

I can tell you right now. You are making alot more than 410whp trapping 130mph. I know the awd mustang dynos are conservative but I would think closer to 510whp than 410. BTW, damn nice pass. You can't go much faster in a S-chassis without spending some major $$$. I would say that street disc is sav...

How much does your car weigh? Also where is your shift point at? I was taking a look at my data logs and I was shifting at 7600 and didn't get below 5000. I launched at 5500 building 16 psi What 2step are you running? I can't imagine the stock tranny lasting 1 more pass leaving off the 2step at 15p...

I'm glad you posted this, i also have an hy35 that will eventually go on my ka24de With a built bodom end and a tubular manifold, that will be a perfect daily/track car i guess! Nice numbers! how's the lag? looks like the boost kick in very early which is what i want! 18psi on a built motor should ...

What turbo are you trapping 119 at 13.5psi?? I would have to quess 35R or some form of 61mm+. I trapped 116 and ran a 11.78 in my SR with a little 53mm GT2871R. It would only hold 18psi on the big end. I'd say you are between 375-400whp at 13.5 psi if you are trapping 119mph. What are you using for ...

in reality, thats what i meant^^^^^^ but think about it,,,why would u have an aftermarket fpr if ur gonna run it at the stock fuel pressure?????only reason i could think of is that u want under ur hood to look cooler when u show it off.there is nothing wrong or unreliable about the stock fpr. Becau...
