Re: ka-t street strip project-going NA until parts are colle
yeah all that work just to spray paint the interior lol. it should hold up I wont be crawling around back there. I found the #1 method for removing the tar is: clear a small area to the metal by any means, take a STURDY 1" wide puddy blade, push up against the spot you would like to remove, and...

Re: Drifting High Compression Turbo KA24DE
ive really been wanting to try a set of arias 10.8:1 SOHC pstons in my de for some insane compression numbers. see if that will be enough to break the N/A record of 217whp with my built head and 100 octane, only problem I see is timing would be very dangerously picky with clearances.

Pursue your dreams , but im sure anyone would recommebd making sure you have reliable transportation (another running vehicle) before trying to take on a project. And if thays the case i recommend fixing the car so it runs n/a, then turboing it.

Re: KA24DE oil pump performance data
Mentioned earlier was about running higher pressure isnt always good. However many people suggest welding up the piston oil squirters when you upgradeyour rods specifically because an h-beam catches oil and flings it to the cylinder walls. Is it badto weld up your oil squirters ? How much does it in...

Re: How big is t4 on a ka24de ?
Ill rev to about 73 or 74 , wow guess i dont have much to worry about after all. I was fairly concerned especially because of the lack of e85 where i am. None in the province at all. I suppose a 0.91 would be fairly responsive. Efeezi claimed an unspoken psi was achieved @ 4900 with a gt4202 1.00a/r.

Re: motor mounts?
Perhaps its something to consider. I dont know how much more it would transfer vibrations etc than regular solid mounts. And for guys like islide or kedbmx aiming for 900 it almost seems nessecary. Id like to look into doing it to pioneer this setup but wait til i do a trans swap to save the machini...

How big is t4 on a ka24de ?
I recently bought efeezi's old twinscroll t4 manifold and i was curious how many guys here are running t4 and what spool is like. Curious what t4 twinscroll 0.91 like any comparisons? Also does anyone know if, just for example, 0.88 t3, and 0.88 t4 would spool similar, Or is the t4 0.88 much larger?

Re: motor mounts?
Ive been doing some thinking about setups like mine and rosado for example, the problems that the big hp ka guys have had is the block cracking between cylinders 2&3, rumored to be due to the engine mounts not dispersing the torque enough. I recently read up in a build where the guy had made an ...
