I broke something

So this little problem has been around for months. When I let the car idle for periods of time, it will begin bellowing white smoke. There is absolutely no pattern! It goes away if I drive. If I rev it in neutral, it blows smoke, but if I put the engine under load the smoke disappears and only reapp...

It just pops off. There might be two screws above the center trim around the radio/din. But otherwise, just grab the trim using the a/c vents and pull, and unplug the hazards and rear defrost once it pops out

That's exactly what I thought. Why would anyone just want an aesthetic "universal" look? The only possible explanation I have for the holes are possibly weight reduction? But that seems... pointless and unlikely. Furthermore, they are advertised as universal rims, and they clearly have bot...

Universal rims?

So back story is I bought some universal konigs when I first bought my 240, since then upgraded to some 5zigens. Had a buddy's brother interested in the old konigs for his civic, and during the test fit we realized they aren't universal at all!? It appears the bolt location for what I assumed to be ...

There isn't any kind of lifetime warranty like autozone mafs, but to be honest I don't remember if there was one at all, I bought it during their black friday sale back in 2010. I was under the impression that nobody has quite figured out how to get the stock IAT mounted for boost applications. The sensor needs to be insulated from any sort of metal housing to prevent picking up the heat of the pipe over the actual air temp. But rubber insulation tends to dislike high press...

When you disconnected your SAFC, did you fix the wire running to the ECU from the MAF? Because the SAFC is wired to intercept the maf signal, and then sends it to the ECU. So where are all the other wires are just tapped into the engine harness, the MAF wire is actually cut on the harness and run in...

The stock IAT does nothing related to fuel or timing at all. It is purely for diagnostic purposes. Either remove it if you don't care about the CEL (I'm not entirely sure it even throws one if removed though), or just leave it near your filter.

Is your battery actually dying after a few days? If it's not dying, I'd try what Supa said and start going through the starting system. I've heard of bad starters and batteries "testing" good at autozone despite being defective, so you may want to keep that in mind as a possibility.
