hmm I never said I didn't have 220V coming from the pole. There's most likley a 220V source in the main breaker box. But when I open it up, it's a little too intimidating for me because I'm not comfortable with electrical stuff. So I was asking how much would an electrician call just to open up that...

$500 is ridiculous. Where do you live. I hope it's close, my buddy could throw one in for the small cost of a little time on the welder. heh heh. 500$ does seem like a lot but other say it's a reasonable price. I haven't really called any electricians yet to be honest though. I just went ahead and ...

Hey, If you go to your local home depot or equivilant you can find a dryer plug/stove plug that you can wire straight to your machine. For my portable welder I simply purchased 15feet of cable, one end is wired with the female equivilant of my welders plug, and the other end is wired with a male dr...

millermatic 140 + JGS turbo mani
you guys think the millermatic 140 is up for the task? I don't have a 220V receptacle anywhere in the house and I hear it's around 500$ to call in an electrician and tap the line. JGS says it needs 200amps or more but damn! even the millermatic 180 taht uses 220V only has max 180amps? how thick is t...

methanol does have a high octane rating but you have to remember it's being mixed in with pump gas. However, meth injection does kick ass and it is possible to raise your compression and have low boost and have it work safley. My reccomendation is to get a very good tuner and have it tuned with a ve...

a little update bump.. This clutch holds great and I didn't break it in. However, I am only boosting 10psi and I'm not doing any hard launches on it so it's probably not a lot of stress. But I just wanted to let you guys know I like this clutch a lot. It's VERY streetable. I live in San Francisco an...

dude that really sucks that you had to watch it burn. It's basically the same as watching money burn right in front of your eyes. I'm glad you're safe though as it any freak accident could have made matters worse. The brake master cylinder is very easy to replace. It's only held by the hardlines and...

Ok since the n60 and 370cc injectors injectors comenate for eachother you would take 370 and divide it by the injectors your running which are 550's. so 370/550=.67. Then you subtract .67 from 1 which is .33. Now you multipy that by 100 to get your percentage and you get 33%. You should enter 33% a...

Clutchmaster stage 5 break in
I heard some rumors about puck clutches not needing to break in as much as organic discs? Is this true in any way? Does puck clutches not need the usual 500 mile break in? Is there any difference in breaking in the clutchmaster stage 5?

That is indeed the brake booster line. I have a jgs vacuum block and I run it before the check valve, in the area of the fpr. I use AEM gauges-oil, boost, a/f. Pricey, but really nice 8) Good luck with everything! same here except I use Golden Eagles Vacuum Block. Work's great and looks a lot clean...
