check to see if your tire rubbed through your harness... mine shorted like that a while back but didnt blow the fuse... best of luck finding the problem.

In theory, if I wanted to get a little bit closer to that compression ratio, wouldn't a larger 3mm copper Head Gasket lower my compression with out having to go with different pistons? If you can afford it, I recommend a standalone also. They are well worth the money. There are just so many things you can do with them. I dont think ill ever own another car without one.
