pull the ecu from the chassis and turn it so you can see the backside(retarded design imho that adds 3 feet of wiring). Use a flat head to turn the screw. IIRC its CW for like a second then CCW to go into code read mode.

I know not to touch em so no I have not personally used them. I have seen this issue in other platforms, straight pump gas so no ethanol break down(well I assume its slightly possible as local fuels tested over 23% ethanol on 87oct, not sure about 93) The way I see it is they are somewhat hit or mis...

a couple of us are currently dealing with crappy wastegates, similar issue I can hit boost and hold x psi one trip, next trip it will spike to set psi then drop over half its pressure(10 drop to 4)

best mbc I have used was an ebay ball/spring/bleeder type :(

for the record a tt clutch will NOT fit an autozone d21 flywheel(el cheapo white bunny). The tt pressure plate is larger.

I'll step in and say all I have really heard about ID 1000/2000cc squirters is trouble. It does seem like people on oem ecu have the most issues. So just be aware its a known issue :(

just unhook the line to the wg to see if thats the issue, that is what has kept me from tearing my turbo setup off.

perfect example of what mine does, today otw to the store boost spikes to 10 then drops to 4ps, otw home it spikes to 8 and holds roughly 7psi. frustration

SO how can a wg fix itself? emusa wastegates suck the soft one.. unless you have a suspect bov ,dont wa...

is the input tracer accurate? looks like you need to add some fuel. I'm guessing around 13ish psi from the timing/fuel maps

after you check your timing, check it again, stock ecu can be lame about this..

glad its fixed,

toss a few strong magnets on the pan and the bolt wont go anywhere unless a hard bump in which case the next magnet should get it.

you face the cams away from each other , with the lobes parallel to the engine(vc mating surface) not the ground.

You dont 'need' to pull the lower cover, just set the engine to tdc then put the cams in properly, the dots are for a faster assembly without thinking..

what are your cranking settings I found a lower ignition timing cranking made for smoother starts, also make sure the skip pulse is set to about 2(I cant get by with 1 but starts right up every time without kickback on 2)

! god yes its dangerous i pre filter change afr's are scary to me, I like 11's , mid to high for sub 10psi, lower then 11.5:1 for more than 10psi. speaking from experience I think the ebay 3 layer green filters flow more, I can see through my ebay filter when with the real hks I could not see throug...

like said afm's are emotional train wrecks...

The best running ka's are often stock and there is a reason for it lol.

btw the hks is a really free flowing filter! Alone could be the afr change.,

yeah its doable I've done the reverse, sohc ecu powering dual cam.. was some changes made in the rom to sync with the cas, warm up timing was a little insane(cost me a couple motors so I gave up on the idea..

I'm sure there were things I missed that these guys have figured out.

yeah my previous setup would fill the damn can during an event (vc to can pre turbo with pcv to check valve to manifold) so I am trying to avoid that.

Would running both pcv and vc to a can then pre turbo be ok?

event starts in like 50 hours :x
