The gaskets are blowing the exact same, I'm worried I'm not seeing something that is wrong but the head and block have been decked and now the cometic is going in with the arp studs I'll attach a picture of both felpros

if there is fuel in your block then your injectors are either stuck open or mad rich and filling when its not starting. would explain the black smoke when running and why u need throttle to start it.

No was all good then bam the coolant over flow was a gizer lol. To much for a stock Felpro

Blew the effin head gasket. Was another Felpro stock gasket. Will not ever used a stock one again regardless of how many ppl make blah blah power with the stock gasket. Made 325hp 17psi at 5600rpm

Do u have a oil restrictor on the hx40?

Should I be running a oil restrictor on the hx40 seems to be smoking all the time and quite a bit of oil in the charge pipe

im running rotella t6 5w 40. the only head work I had done was the surface skimmed after the head gasket blew. and other then possible a few buckets being installed in the wrong holes they are all within spec..

Hovered around 223F and I saw a few 253ish spikes. I never once noticed a lean afr.
