I believe the whole problem is the lack of runners on the black manifold... I'd love to see the results of a properly designed plenum in conjunction with velocity stacks and tapered runners with a minimum length of around 6 inches

I'm going to be trying to make a few different intake manifolds utilizing the stock upper runners with flange. One of each of the two designs shown at the top of the page. And another with the stock runners chopped close to the head as possible. Probably going to be on the cheap side, but I will do...
