I prefer precision fmic's...which use garrett bar and plate cores. The inside is really dense compared to the ebay cheapo. You can see right thru those...You obviously get what you pay for... But people still use them anyways...I guess they're OK for the average c...

Its done that to me before. Are you connecting it first than starting the car? Or is it giving you problems connecting after the car is running? Sometimes you may have to click the debug tab and click "send break", then click "send init". Make sure the gauges are turned off when ...

Yea you have to change the number on calumsult. That that tells it what indexes to read from. if you leave them alone it tries to look up 33 and 32.The S13 consult table doesnt go that high and it wont display anything at all. I dont have any experiences with the lc-1, but I personally use the LM-1. ...

You have to add the TP address to your Consult Register table for the ecu to spit out the values. The xdf I gave you has the table added. Now what you do is enter "4292" into any spot that is not being used. Those would have FFFF there. I like to insert it into the "07" spot. For...

The EMS is a great product, most of the propaganda you hear is from inexperienced tuners that blow their engines and blame it on the AEM. Ive never once had a problem with it, and being as user friendly as it is, as long as you know what your doing, and understand what you see in front of you, ther...

I did some reading on AEM products, seems like everything else they make is crappy  The twin fire ignition boxes have a high failure rate and others have problems with their peak and hold injector boxes too. Draw unemployment

Before I got laid off I was a TIG welder for Bombardier Learjet. Welded all kinda of small parts for their private jets.

Looking to switch it up and get into engineering. I'd rather weld as a hobbie.

Start by figuring out what your goals are,if you plan on running e85,hp,drag,drift.etc. and go from there.

Then start buying parts.
