Found a great place for axles. Raxles
Just figured I would share a CV axle shop that I found out about locally that is really popular with Subaru/Audi/VW guys. http://www.raxles.com/ They also have a facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/Raxles I bought an axle from them for my beater/rally Subaru and it is definitely top notch. I tho...

Im running Hankook RS3s and I have to say ...for a tire that is 140 treadwear..they have been the most kickass tire I have run for the buck. It is an excellent track tire , a good autox tire (depending on car class , a decent street tire and the longevity is fantastic rivaling the toyo RA1 . I have...

There are two ports on the firewall. It looks like if you hooked them up backwards to me that coolant would simply flow through the heat exchanger (heater core) backwards. It would still be going from the port on the block through the heat exchanger, and then back into the thermostat housing/TB feed...

hope this works. Need some opinions here. What do you think of this manifold? What do you think needs to be changed? Boost creep issues at 5k are a major problem and i need them fixed to hit 7500 rpms. Does it really need a 44mm waste gate or not? My first tubular manifold was exactly like that and...

I sat in one of those today, not by choice. They would be horrible for anything, If you are going for budget, Kirkey isn't too bad as Mr. Cramer stated above. If your budget is a little higher, then Ultra-Shield makes metal seats as well. The good thing about those is that you can bend them to fit. ...

The only other alternative I have thought of is to weld in a very small shroud that diverts exhaust into the wastegate. Cut a pie wedge out of a piece of tubing and weld it to the top side of the wastegate inlet inside the collector.
I would just worry that it would screw up flow into the turbine...

Since we bumped this back up, I wanted to reiterate that an Evo is really the obly choice here. It is the only think I would be looking for at that price. The G35 sedans are nice because they can be quick yet they look completely normal. The Evo kinda looks like a kiddy car and may be difficult to ...

I ran an 8:1 FMU on my first turbo setup for about eight months. I was on a T04B. I would think an 8:1 would be fine for you. Swap to a Walbro and rewire it using a 30A automotive relay and AT LEAST 12g wire. You'll still need to pull a little timing out IMO. I always did just for safety. When I ran...

Yea it is pretty rare to see a properly driven viper. But then again, most people that can drive well see that a viper is kind of an expensive car to possibly wreck, so they track something cheaper and faster. The cars are dead nuts reliable though... The only thing I would change if I bought one wo...

OP, I clearly answered your question in my first post. I used a few equations to come up with the numbers I posted. You would need to run around 18psi to flow the same amount of air. In turn, you could fry eggs on your intake manifold with ease. ok im not understand this is why people run FMIC and ...

Using basic air flow calculations and using pressure ratio, you would need 18psi to flow the equivalent amount of air that a 3.6L engine flows at 10psi with the 3.6L redlining at 6200rpm and the 2.4L engine redlining at 7000rpm. For the 3.6L, intake air temps are 249*F and the density ratio is 1.33 ...
