meh, you will find room to store things if you want to keep them around. Ask supa, he has seen my one car garage. btw the carpeted trim pieces seem to do well in an attic =)

which makes me wonder why you didn't just go with an aluminum one. aluminum short block - 1000$ (bare block) iron block that can be bored out to use same internals at aluminum short block and use every single part the aluminum block uses, can take >30psi boost in stock form, has a shorter stroke/hi...

Re: Supakat's Thread
LM7 would be my choice if going v8 like your setup. Gotta love cast blocks. LY5 is the newer LM7 now. have to be careful on the newer blocks. they have this active port management (displacement on demand) on the newer generation engines where they manage oiling and solenoids to each of the cylinder...

Re: Injectors, Reflash, Pump questions
You will need to change out the rubber hose with fuel hose (different chemical resistance, the plain rubber will just melt in gas). Usually, whatever brand fittings you get, that supplier makes braided hose too. I use the earls or russell brand hose (granted its braided, just as expensive when order...

if you are going to do the v8, may as well do the truck motor and boost it. seriously, I got my long block v8 with accessories for 150$. its like how the abundance of ka's were 5 years ago. plus a fully forged set of internals if the 1000hp on a stock block isnt enough for me is under a grand. you d...

Looks good. That motor wants fuel in cruising mode. Keep it up. What base map you using? I used rickys tune for the ignition map (getting no knock at this point, so I probably have a bit of room to grow in the future, I am also running a smoother cam than he is). Will probably pick up the knock mod...

amidst all the fun quirks that go with getting a new setup working, eventually you hit that point where you have a grin across your face hitting the gas pedal. Even at 25% throttle this thing feels gnarly. http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q36/beercandrifter/240pictures/MS3assembly/10930763_1015279...

for some reason, I always have a spare block and all the parts that go with it, and a suspension, and a head, and it seems i am just missing shells at this point to toss all these parts in. Thing i always keep on hand that are frequently used, spare 10/12/14mm sockets, high temp rtv, box of connecto...

That will get some serious consideration, but i'll have to practice one some other piping first before i attempt that i havent welded much curved stuff, and i thought welding pipe required back purging? also my rig is an ARC stick welder, and that is only sch 10. which my second point is; isnt that...

i ran that log manifold, easy to weld together, was able to build up pressure plenty quick with the hx35
cant beat the price, the steel pieces are very nice thickness

Oh update on this! While i was searching around yes you can get a fitting on summit that is similar however it isn't exactly stock spec. I happened to notice that the Xcessive manifold has a tapped in pipe and gave them a call turns out that they make their fitting to spec in house so that they wil...

if you can get a shop to tap it for you, you can buy the barb fittings for about 20$ (dont remember the diameter of the pipe coming out of the manifold) http://www.summitracing.com/search/part-type/an-to-hose-barb-fittings/fitting-size-1/minus-20-an-o-ring?N=4294921324%2B4294882575&SortBy=BestKe...

Initially i had actually planned to use 550cc injectors but from what i read they wouldnt get me safely to 350whp range? if what you say is true that would be great though! i wanted the extra size more for safety than growth potential. those ford injectors are cheap :D ! says sold in set of 8s i wo...

as far as I know, you wont find a aftermarket sidefeed rail (as the stock rail supports a decent size injector)Lee27 wrote:Does anyone know if someone or vendor sells bottom feed injectors. All I can find are top feed rails. fuel rail 1995

Re: ms3 from scratch, no oem wiring
you are asking for 2 different things ms3 runs your engine -harness to control your accessories in your engine bay (i.e. fans, sensors, engine) you would need a chassis harness to do the rest of your car (i.e. ezwiring, painless) ms3 with the diyautotune prelabled harness on the ka is extremely easy...

have a board member asking me for suggestions on 550cc (52lb) injectors for his top feed setup, I was going to recommend the subaru outbacks, but they are 11mm tops. anyone else care to chime in with some suggestions? you can find domestic injectors in the 48lb range all day long, may be his best be...

So in an effort to try and keep things semi clean, I have a need to mount 4 relays via the metal locking tabs on the back of the relays (standard 240 blue relays), i was wondering if anyone has run across something that mounts 4 relays that was off a stock car. seems the altima fans use 4 relays whi...
