I've had good luck with the brand when it comes to a roll of gasket sheets. I'd go fel-pro if I was in your shoes.

So far so good. Do you have any verification on the torque sequence for the pressure plate as it was installed?

Was everything new, or was something resurfaced? Also inform us of brand, type of clutch, etc. More details and I'm sure the minds on here can help out.

Re: How to rewire your fuel pump for max efficiency!
Ahh I see. Well carquest has a 4 wire pigtail number S-706 and a 5 wire pigtail number S-654. I assume the 4 wire excludes the center terminal. Edit: I hope other stores can cross reference the numbers...however this might help. http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n240/Marcus240sx/9c394db7-d9e3-47a1-...

Re: How to rewire your fuel pump for max efficiency!
I'd be timid with the spade terminals unprotected so close together. To help I will bring my electrical pigtail book back with me tomorrow so we can have a part number to use or x-reference to make this even better. Great write up!

Re: O2 sensor issue
OBD 2 has a heated oxygen sensor requiring more leads. I'm not familiar with what the conversion actually does, but I'd say from the sounds of it that it won't work due to the obd1 02 sensor working off of resistance. Therefore a true obd2 car sends no signal, it only awaits one.

Whoa wait you said fuel pressure was negative in a test? As in pressure? But it does kick on? What pressure reading did you get? If it was low put a set of needle nose pliers on the return after the FPR and pinch it to see if the pressure builds as high as it needs to.

Rock currently I'm into Pop Evil, Thousand Foot Krutch, In this Moment, 10 years, and Devour the Day. So let's hear it folks. What's your cup of tea? Ps...

Re: aeromotive a1000 for problem
Man this has really been an issue recently with many users. My advice is to never trust a non-liquid filled fuel pressure gauge, and only half trust a cheap liquid filled gauge. This is no item to skimp on. What gauge to did you discover it was "wrong" with?

So you guys think the block, pistons, and rings are still okay? My brother says that that drip down the cylinder wall can possibly be leaking coolant from the headgasket. Only half of the exhaust port is oily.. i think it would be safe to assume the valve seal is leaking on that port. Get the head checked out, it may need a valve job reguardless.
