T3 60trim should put you happily in the ballpark for quick spool and be happy for up to 14.7 lbs of boost. It should spool around 3000-3200 give or take a little. BTW I run a GT30 (71 IIRC) and it isn't a very happy turbo below 10psi... it is much happier around at least 14psi plus, in my experience...

But if you know about pressurizing the cylinders.... all you do is pull the cams, remove the spark plug, screw in the air compressor fitting, pressurize the cylinder, remove the keepers, and springs on that cylinder replace the seals, reassemble the spring/k...

Fix it... One thing to consider is how in depth you want to go... that may require planning but for that car to be running is about 1 Saturdays worth of work and a couple hundred dollars in parts... then you will be very happy with it.
