Just a note... do double check your fpr if you haven't inspected it an know everything to look for. I've been on mine for 2 years now without a problem though after some initial inspection... oh and IIRC there was one sharp edge i deburred that would have worn a whole in the main seal. If you know w...

I run a gm iacv... no more stupid accessory valve. But I have run it without... it just takes a little fiddling with to get it set right and then use a little bit of locktite. you will more than likely have to hold the pedal down for a couple seconds when it is cold but once it heats up it should be...

Replaced my broke shifter bushing, fixed an exhaust leak, messed with the boost control settings on megasquirt... made the 10psi hit that much harder. Debating some 275 wide on the rear for drag... starting towards dropping my final drive to a 3.5 from a 3.9

T3 60trim should put you happily in the ballpark for quick spool and be happy for up to 14.7 lbs of boost. It should spool around 3000-3200 give or take a little. BTW I run a GT30 (71 IIRC) and it isn't a very happy turbo below 10psi... it is much happier around at least 14psi plus, in my experience...

Well, I did mine when I had the head off. Fix it... One thing to consider is how in depth you want to go... that may require planning but for that car to be running is about 1 Saturdays worth of work and a couple hundred dollars in parts... then you will be very happy with it.

What kind of supercharger? and will you cool your air after pressuring it? If so you should just drop the whole high compression.... it isn't efficient at all compared to boosting with a heat exchanger. The heat exchanger (inter cooler) is the key... it is where you pick up a TON of efficiency. With...

I wouldn't bother. Heat wrap will make next to no difference you aren't getting any significant heat energy from radiation as the coolant isn't that hot. There really isn't a significant gain to be had there. Best way to cool down the intake charge more would be methanol or nos injection. Although m...
