Some sick ass bikes dude. Totes jelly. Procedure wise it's the same, the weld only comes out as good as the metal fit and prep, just as with paint prep. Just about picking up the torch/ gun and figuring it out. And by the lack of orange peel it looks like youve got it on lock. Sorry to divert the to...

Ahhhh, my purge was kind of inconsistent, and i knew there had to be a way to fix it. Thanks for the tip on the vent, that should help a LOT! I do think i tried kicking up the gas flow, but i dont think to that extent. I'll give it a try and see what she does at that cfm. Nope, never looked at actua...

I would do it just like that one pictured above. If you place the flex section anywhere after that you run into issues. - if you bottom out you can rip open the flex section, which is very easy to cut yourself on when under there and could casue leaks. -you do not want the chance of bottoming out be...

Dont really have a time frame. Im trying to get the collector jig done, then do work on the exhaust manifold. Once that's buttoned up the car will go into the shop for a different front end setup, intercooler/ radiator, piping, downipipe, exhaust, seat mount etc. So it should be relatively quick aft...

Anytime. Honda tech has some useful stuff occasionally lol. Have you ever had problems with paint peeling off of the bay from the evacuated crankcase air out of the catch can? Maybe this is some queer BS heersay, which for some reason is plentiful on the subject of e85, but i've seen reports of it s...

Here's a decent thread that compares all the different evac methods. As his test was through the waste gate tube, which id imagine would create less draw, i think better results could be had routing it through the downpipe from the higher pressure differential. v8 guys have seen as much as 40whp ove...

Went through the same debate with the Q45 TB. I like the simplicity of the ebay Tb, and having the option to weld it. Im not sure as i haven't disassembled mine. I think a lot of the talon guys run them but have yet to find anything conclusive on dsm forums about seals etc. I just messaged the selle...

I ordered two of those ebay TB's. One for my car and i put one on Silvk's car. The first one leaked like crazy, the second one leaked just a little bit at first, but im told its gotten worse now. I've heard you can get new seals for it. I might just try and disassemble it and see if i can lathe out ...

I wanted to do that to my z33 Trans but everyone I talked to suggested not to. All fabricators and engineers :/ Sounds like they want your tranny. If this was the case, Mazworx kit would have not been made. The reason the mazwork kit was made is because a machined plate is always going to place the...

Idk why all their **** has that coating. i did a mild steel vband that i wire wheeled and the coating did not want to come off, welded really weird. Damn, went with the biggen, the 4.5 c...

God i want a g35 for a dd. They go for such decent prices too. Have you seen a decent amount of success with the Pegasus clamps? Is that the 3.5 thick inter cooler? Can you explain what you're doing to the 6061? I assume some type of quenching, just wondering how quickly you have to quench the area ...
