I really feel peoples opinions about coil overs stem from where they live, some places have such great roads and streets that the stiffness does not affect them in their daily driving routine. Even my super stiff teins feel amazing when i hit nice smooth twisties, but thats ultra rare because i live...

I'm just surprised you were able to get that whole system built and managed to miss the millions of posts about using the .60/.063 oil restrictors for those turbos or else you risk blowing seals. That aside, if you place the bung too low oil can start to backup and not drain properly, and then compi...

I use royal purple MAXGEAR 75w90 oil in both my diff and tranny, smooth as hell no grinding. Never was a guy who thought there is much of a difference between one synthetic and the other, but royal purple makes my car feel COMPLETELY different when i switched to it...not only could i feel more power...

ahha that was the biggest disappointment, from day 1 i figured they were at the stiffest setting....nope wrong as can be, they were at 1 = softest setting....so i dont even want to know what 16 feels like. I wish i was able to ride in cars with diff setups so i could judge for myself, my cousins evo...

$850 budget , suggestions on suspension please.
Like it says $850 is the budget, i currently have some TEIN type HE coilovers that im selling because they dont suit my dd at all, bit too stiff for me. Problem is there are alot of different setups out there and i need one for about or UNDER $850. I dont know if i should do a good shock spring comb...

yea i know exactly what you mean, its a real pain since youll have to take it apart again and trust me i know the headache involved...but you say you hear the sound when you engage the clutch so its when the TOB is starting to push against the pressure plate splines. if the bearing is bad and not sp...

i was considering the f1 kits when i did my swap, instead i took a OEM exedy kit which was $91 shipped and the XTD 11; flywheel ...all from ebay. The reason i took the XTD over the F1 is because it claimed to be SFI certified. And it works great so far, no complaints. Did you change the Throw out Be...

First off if your using a FMU that means that you're not going to push over 7psi boost 8 MAX. In which case ill be running a 8:1 ratio fmu, That's what has been recommended to me by KFRED who says he had a very successful setup using this ratio with that approximate amount of boost. A 10:1 will prob...

um, pulling the motor may work for you, but i guarantee you it will take longer. All i recommend is having at least 2 people....2 to help wiggle, and one with a strong foot to kick that s.hit in when you get it lined up. you can do it with 2 people but its good to have a extra man if its not lining ...
