Wow, what are putting to the wheels? At 5psi I was thinking around 200-225whp maybe? I thought it would be closer than that lol but looks fun!

Yeah, my younger brother has a turbo H22 Prelude and high power 2g Eclipse GSX but I always enjoyed my little '93 Altima when it had around 200whp (t25) and even now just NA bolt ons. I guess I've always been more into driving a slow car fast type of person and would go nuts having to baby the throt...

Cool project though I just finished your 6 page QR project lol...nothing like the sense of accomplishment...and it runs lol! That's also really good mpg on the qr as my '93 Altima with intake (4.5" k&n cone mounted inside airbox), HS 4-2-1 header and 2.25" exhaust only gets around 21mp...

Walbro pump fakes?

Hey guys, this may sound goofy but my 4 year old Walbro pump is on the fritz (check valve shot, losing pressure) on my '93 Altima KA (running NA for now). I'm planning on getting another but I found a bunch of different forum threads talking about Walbro fakes being made and sold even in parts store...

Nice looking setup...how do you like the EDFC? My first car, an '85 Mazda 626 hatch 5spd had an OEM electronic suspension with 2 settings but after the struts ($200/strut back in the mid 90s lol) went bad, I couldn't afford to replace them back then. I've been interested in the EDFC since I read abo...

Well the O'Reilly FPR was $77 itself, so the Nissan unit was only $9 more. Actually Nissan list price was $115 but I've known the parts manager for some time so he knocked it down to 'wholesale', according to him. Credit card makes things easier lol. I actually checked around for the Nismo unit but ...

Ok just an update for any who care lol: I replaced the fuel filter and FPR with another O'Reilly Borg Warner (BWD) brand unit. install everything, prime the pump and fuel pressure hits 36lbs and then starts dropping immediately down to about 10lbs! It takes all of 1 minute to drop down to 10lbs of p...

Ok I haven't had time to change the FPR (will do this week) but did notice some more odd fuel pressure readings. Usually as soon as I shut the car off after it's run for a few minutes, the Aeromotive fuel pressure gauge shows about 40lbs or so and it takes probably 15-20minutes for it to drop below ...

Just out of curiosity, will you keep the OEM 5th gear and how high will it rev at highway speeds? Or is it a track only car? I went from a 3.61FD to a 4.08FD in my Altima and my rpm jumped about 400rpm across the board but then again I'm stuck with a 4spd auto right now. Sucks for long drives hittin...

Sorry if I missed this but is the KA going to make it hard to have a decently balanced chassis? That car looks awfully small but then again, the front axle looks about as far forward as you can get in a car so most of the KA would be on or behind the axle I guess?

Sorry if I missed it but what ECU/tune/management are you running? Like ATL suggested, depending on OBD spec, the O2/CTS can cause real rich conditions. Also the O2 and coolant temp sensor if out of spec, may not trip a code but can really kill fuel economy as well as the coolant system/thermostat n...

Update: A local race shop, BB&T racing had an Aeromotive fuel pressure gauge. Hopefully it's accurate!

Anyway, just installed the gauge/t fitting and at idle the car is showing about 37lbs of pressure with the FPR vaccum line hooked up and about 48lbs or so with it disconnected.
