if u notice in professional drifting they reach 3+ Gs of sideways force and yet remain with 4 tires on the ground at all times THAT is true chassis bracing Not sure if his car is braced but tire dip with braces shouldn't let the chassis twist like this truck's My point exactly, if it had a chassis ...

That's just tire dipping. My car does that going out of tricky driveways. Looks like the result of proper bracing to me. LoL

If you replace just the rear sway bar it will increase the chances of the rear kicking out by quite a bit. I use the Whiteline combo on mine.

My suggestion though. Learn to control the car in as close to stock condition as possible.

What Walper means is why a .040 overbore? Are your cylinder walls that ***** up? Unless you have some voodoo that you aren't telling us then you should start by having the block checked and see if you can run with the stock bore. You don't want to chance it and end up going through a water jacket. P...

To shorten this discussion up...

The ONLY oil pump for your motor is the stock one.
There is no water pump upgrade for these motors, so again you are stuck with stock stuff.

Well some of you may know that the local track (Emerald Coast Dragway in Holt, FL) over here was shut down. This is our first event at this new venue and we need tons of support to get it going and for the track to expand. Thanks In advance for anyone who comes. Google map directions. http://maps.go...

Start with the basics. Don't get all new **** just to do it. My opinion would be to start with Tension Rods up front and Rear upper control arms to get some camber adjustment. The rest are usually only needed as a last resort for alignment purposes but unless you try to get hardcore with road racing...

This question is going to bring about a bunch of opinions basically. Eagle rods have been known to handle good power so I don't see an issue there. Some people like to stick with a particular brand of piston over others, some want the absolute lightest setup that is offered. I have never heard bad n...

Mobil 1 is sh!t. Ask airman. Also, my brother ran 10w-30 in his b16 and the cylinders were scorched like the car was running rich. When the machinist looked at it, he said the tune was rich causing this. Funny thing is his car is stock. LOL. Anyways, just feel the oil and you will see how thin it i...

Thing is, I've used RP on more than one occasion and I do think it is a joke.
Valvoline synthetic blows it out of the water if you ask me.

That is strictly my opinion based on the results I've seen though.

Garret's new GTX line-up... anyone going to give em a shot?

I've been on the fence about which turbo I would like to use for my setup that I am piecing together. I just recently learned how to properly interpret compressor maps and figure out when and where the most effective ranges for the turbo chargers would fall based on displacement and stuff along thos...

I think that its actually the valve seals, because its coming from the oil cap and not the dip stick so its the top of the motor not the bottom... on the bright side I did get a job at advance auto parts so there will be more rough riding. But what would explain bubbles in coolant? If just valve se...

Look up Xcessive Manufacturing if you just have to have aftermarket parts. Lots if people just weld a fitting onto the stock pan though from what I see.

The piston in the stock rears has to be turned like a bolt to get them to go in so you can assemble it all. Tool is like 10 bux at the parts store, hook it to a ratchet and start turning it with the bleeder opened slightly and you'll see...

That response is because we both grabbed head studs while AMS was shutting down and he ordered the same Time-sert kit as I did.
That would have meant my stuff was likely to come back in the same shape.

Very few people on this site have dealt with kits like this. From my reading, 95% of people here have pieced their kits together from scratch. This is my first time hearing about these guys you mentioned.

That being said, I doubt anyone has any feedback for you about that shop honestly.
