Mine was also pretty rich, until I found out it was due to my stupidity.

Check for boost leaks, and also consider getting an adjustable FPR, that seemed to help on my setup.

Just out of curiosity, MAF wired correctly?

Turns out it was the Sard Adjustable punk of a Fuel Pressure Regulator.

Stock FPR is back on there and it shows 44 psi steady at idle.

The Fuel Pump gets 12 volts with the ignition on, car off. Connection is good too.

Vacuum line goes from the regulator to the manifold.

Fuel Pressure Jumping from 20-50 psi at idle. Bad FPR?

I was about to go on the dyno yesterday, until a small problem arose. First of all, I'm using the Walbro 255 fuel pump, 550cc injectors on the stock rail, and the Sard adjustable rising rate FPR. There's also a fuel pressure gauge in the line just before the rail. The fuel pressure will jump from 20...

The dyno that I went to is certified by AEM to tune the EMS, I specifically went there because of that background. The tuner started with a basemap that KINGSBLEND made for me, and altered it wherever the car ran best.

He also used the wizard to setup the MAP sensor.

AEM EMS very strange symptoms, any insight?

Okay, a few of you have helped me out in the past, to get this ka-t on the road. Recently, I installed the AEM EMS with 3.5 bar MAP sensor. I took the car over to a local dyno, and a buddy of mine helped me to get the car to run decently. Then some very strange things started happening. I will list ...

You definately want to take that auto bushing out, it is not the same size as the manual transmission pilot bushing. The grease trick is a good one, i've seen it work too. Even though I just had a slide hammer laying around so I used that. The bushing came out smooth as my tires after the first week...

wow very strange. I was having this same problem before, with the enthalpy tune. I put timing as close to 20* as possible, even though the idle for me was also very unstable. I've since switched to the AEM EMS also, I just need to get a PC laptop, plug it in, and upload the basemap. When I do that, ...

Ka-T with Clutch Fan?

Hey, I've been reading about the efficiency of different cooling setups... I found some cool research on running the stock Clutch Fan as opposed to An Electric Fan/Fans. Supposedly, with the stock shroud, the ka24de clutch fan pulls almost as much CFM as the Taurus 2 speed fan, on it's high speed. D...
