+ 1 for cutting a junkyard panel and using "3m super-panel adhesive" with clamps and shims to line her up right. Much easier than it seems.

Or you can just get someone to weld it.

I definately have to agree with "seanc" as far tas fuel AND ign control go. I've seen far too many kat's go without proper tuning. You have to remember, the stock ECU was ot meant for boost, so you can pull a few degrees of total timing, but not all the way through the rpm range.

I wired mine up the way that Alex (my red s14) showed you, and when my safc2 is monitoring airflow, it says 20% with the engine off... Very strange because it isn't supposed to read that high... it should be around .2 % ...

by any chance was this car swapped from an auto to a 5-spd? Because I know you cannot start an Auto-ECU'd car with a manual tranny, without jumpering the nuetral safety switch... Either that or something having to do with the ASCD clutch switch, would be my first guesses.... Though I could very well...

alright guys, here is a possible solution to the richness / stumbling problem.... *fingers crossed* :) wnI pulled off my fuel reail and checked the injectors, #1 seemed like it was seized, plus the coil also showed some strange signs.... I sent all four injectors to Deatschwerks to be flowed tested,...

Mine does the same thing, but I just rebuilt my engine with a brand new oil pump, tensioners and timing kit... Almost sounds like a valve tap of some kind..... alot of people say it's the oil pump, but I put tons of oil on the oil pump internals before installing it..... I didn't use any grease, or ...

the one under the intake manifold about 4 inches back from the throttle body... I'll try switching it to another T off the FPR / Brake booster.... sorry about that... yep the problem was the MAF 12v and 5v were switched, and so were the grounds.... with the car off the safc was reading 19 % and now it reads .3 % ... so if your safc reads 19 % with the car off the MAF is definately wired backwards...!! I have a full turboing the ka manual comin...
