Yea doesn't the FC have one of the largest OEM Oil coolers to come in a production car?!? You can probably snag one up for around $50 My setup for next season(reason being I live in Chicago and its f*ckin snowing here) is going to be the Greddy Sandwich Plate w/ Thermostat, NPT fitting for my Oil Te...

Thanks for the responses guys. I am breaking axles in the main shaft and sheering the knuckles sometimes. It varies. I have even broke the cover. The motor is a 408 lsx with a th350 and 2 small stages of nitrous. Makes around 700hp/800tq thru an unlocked converter. I know straight axle would be bes...

Both threads were very informative. The only downside is that they don't have much feedback on a KA-T setup with those cam combinations. Im going to link it up to my buddy who knows a good deal about cam profile/overlap and all that other tech info and see what he thinks. I found a local guy selling...

Yea I already have the 2871r .86 sitting in my room, just need to figure out which cam will benefit it the most.

Kinda sad that there isn't alot of info on the hotcam swap. I guess i'll just have to do it and post the results.

Keep the suggestions coming along...

So your saying the Hot Cam swap?

I guess anything is better than my stock S14 T25 setup. It choked out so quickly.

I've been looking around and can't seem to find some definitive results with the Hot Cam Swap dyno's.

Camshaft Suggestion : Road Race 2871r .86

Time has come for me to pickup a set of cams for next years setup. Setup: Road Race 2871r .86 Any suggestions on which cam to go with? Looking for strong midrange and something that will help the 2871r breathe. Goal of about 350whp I can have the head ported/polished and probably toss in a Supertech...

I really just hope both of the setups are similar to get a fair test. So theres no doubts after the tests have been completed.

And im sour my KA-T S14 wasn't chosen to spank on SR's on the circuit.!

A good starting point for seating position if you don't already know is, sitting in the seat with your ass touching the rear most part of the seat (so your in the seat all the way), now lean back in the seat so your shoulders are pushing against the shoulder supports or upper part of the seat, from ...

LISTEN UP OP! Get your ass in the car and start practicing. At first I thought it was impossible even though I have done it in other cars, when jumping into my S14 it was a little more difficult. I've done it in my dress shoes, Adidas, Pilotis, barefoot...you name it. PRACTICE! You'll get it down, ...

you should be good to about 260whp with the stock MAF. Just get a ROM tune. It'll be the safest bet, you might as well spend some money on this cheap setup. If you skimp on the tune you will regret it down the road. The SR T25 also has coolant lines, so don't forget to set those up. If you hit the s...

Any plans on porting the wastegate port? Supposedly this solves the issue with higher psi creep.

Also: EazyE, I DEMAND PICS! of the bottom mount setup with the exwastegate flange.

I know my KA-T25 was moving compared to others. I know i had superior tuning and supoprting mods for a T25 setup.

With that being said, my car pulled about a car or two ona modded WRX on the highway.
