Re: Head lifting issues solved Permenantly!!!

Can we just drill the block with Milwaukee hammer drill for ARP RB26 head studs, then thread for the 12mm and call it a day or do we need to take the block to have a machine shop do it via drill press? My impact drill seems very true or maybe I could make a jig of sorts to keep it guided in the hole...

Re: SuperDorifto's Overbuilt KA24DE - T Project

I'm waiting on yet another round of dealing with AEM trying to trouble shoot my ECU. Car show season is upon us in CT and I decided to have a go at just getting back to baseline before the mishap with the battery. Just wanted to take the car out for a spin. Timing was never synced with the new ECU,...

I wonder how that will work being that it's aluminum and the other piece is steel.... hopefully nothing warps.... either way looks like a nice piece and aluminum might even allow for better heat dissipation. GLWB

Re: New Project: Mild build

. Currently looking into improving the oil system. I have decided to hold off on installing the Accusump and focus on the pan and new baffling. After talking to a rep from accusump, their electric valve setup (used only as a reserve and for pre oil) seems like the best option for an engine that wou...

Re: Supakat's Thread

Been a long time since I posted/updated. It is much easier on youtube to do this. Anyhow, about 6 months ago, had some engine knock. Put the car down and finally opened her up about 2 weeks ago. Turned out cylinder 3 rod ran a lil slack. I then contemplated rebuilding the KA or go VQ. I then found ...

Most companies have their rule of them when plumbing but a lot of what you read online is anecdotal so try many things and find out what works for you. Here on Page 6 Garrett Discusses the methods the recommend in coolant routing http://turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/sites/default/files/Garrett_W...

That little welded pipe thingy looks cool..... I run journal bearing only so I don't really worry much about coolant lines etc and I'm no guru by any means.... ..... but the way I look at it is that when turbo charging it all becomes one system....... the turbo kit and the engine become one..... ......

It's not as simple as bolting on a Manifold and Turbo and expecting it to work .... read my post . To make any car perform optimally you NEED good tuning, that's First- and- Foremost. Before you buy anything buy the tuning software you will be using, everyone that starts out building their FIRST car...

is the Nisotune or ethapanhy a better tune If you go turbo don't skimp out on the ECU go standalone and get an expensive one like Haltech Elite AEM infinity or Pro EFI. If you plan on having the car for less then a year or so and plan on selling it in the future and want to go for plug and play Ent...
