Aftermarket Cams and Vacuum

The guys in here running aftermarket cams on your Ka-t, what is your vacuum usually at? I noticed my vacuum is around 15inches. Just want to see what others get. Thanks.

Wastegate leaking at idle

What causes the tial wastegate to stay open during idle? I got a line from the turbo compressor going to the middle fitting on the wastegate but its still leaking, no matter if I take it off or on. How can I test this to make sure the diaphram is good? Any help would be great thanks.

Should be three. Two darken colored ones and a golden or yellow one. Look close for them
they are hard to see with the chains covered in oil tarnish.

Hmmmm really. Well going from the box labels the cam in the intake box is not lined up with the pin. I probably will swtich them around good looking out on that one. Is it hard for Crower to atleast give a spec sheet or anything, these guys didnt send any documentation with the cams geez.

Ok well checking around and reading some threads i figured out that the dowels are off. Maybe it was made for single chain Ka's instead of the dual chains. Prob have to align them by moving them over a few teeth. Im gonna try your idea Brad and put stock cams back in, mark them, then put in the crow...

I could see how that would work if you wanted to get the marks right on before taking anything off, I already got everthing off. Right now the bottom end is at TDC with crank sprocket and idler sprocket lined up correct. The problem comes when I line up the cam sprockets. One mark is at bottom and o...

Crower V2 install problem

I am installing the v2s right now and I am having a problem getting the timing marks to line up. I already bolted them down once without any problems but for some reason the chain and marks dont line up. I set the cams in place with the first lobes pointing outward at TDC. But the marks are way off ...

Pressure washer, strong degreaser and a stiff tooth brush or small nylon brush. Still its not gonna get brand new clean, but it will be cleaner. The cover is usually oxidized so I just painted them lol.
