sooo can someone answer my question on wether or not its worth getting bigger valves
and why?

from my knwledge the intake on the ka head just needa a lil clean up and probably a 3 to 5 angle valve job and MAYBE large valves? im kinda of iffy bout that any advice on wether to go biger valves or not? and why?


most of your work is gonna be on the exhaust ports

when you do the swap is their a wiring kit you can just plug and play or is it more complicated and do you have to buy an aem standalone ecu

noooo ka's can rev as high as sr if both sr and ka had a full oem rebuild and both were clean built all that you have to do to a ka is throw in some cams and it will rev that high 8000rpm am i right or am i wrong? its just the majority of motors werent kept clean or had some sort of problem arleady ...

the ka can be reved as high as the sr just need a good set of cams and valvetrain and i would also recomment the ati damper
and this is of course if everything is in good condition(bearings, oiling,headgasket, headstuds)

from what i remember is that the pistons and rods are strong its just that ppl didnt take care of their motor making those parts weak over the life time of usage and then they decide to boost it? cmmon now and they expect it to hold...nope from what weve seen the stock botom end is very well up to t...

the reason why i would like to see a dyno is that way i can see where gains are made and/or lost anywere on the powerband and how much power gains over stock IM

from reading a magazine that ams build a intake manifold for an evo they said longer runners are made for low end power while shorter runners are made for high revving motors but i think their runner length was bout the same length as this one its in one of my mag and im tired and i dont wanna go lo...

i love that intake manifold i think its just perfecgt for our ka's as i seen way too many manifold runner too short if i was to build an IM it would most likely end up looking just lke yours are you still running your iacv and all that other crap back their
