Re: fully balanced crank?
I'm not certain but when you get a balance at a shop you supply them with everything that attaches to the crank, that includes rods, pistons, flywheel and crank pulley. Due to the fact that all those things are not stock theres going to be minor differences in weight between each component and they ba...

having the tach jump around like that gonna mean it's defiantly spark related. Take the cap off the distributor and check the rotor and terminals and test your spark leads to rule things out. Whats your setup? This just randomly started happening?

Main question to ask is are you having to refill your radiator? ^ This... If your rad fluid level is dropping in addition to the milky oil then you most defiantly have a head gasket problem. Oil and water will produce a milky color, doesn't have to be coolant (coolant is just other chemicals and gl...

Re: E85 in Vancouver B.C.
so 255 LPH is 255,000 cc's per hour which is then 4250 cc's per minute. Therefore, we have four injectors so that means each injector will be supplied with 1062.5 cc's per minute of fuel. Based off that you'll have enough fuel supplied to the injectors by your single walbro 255. Whenever it comes to...

I would stay on the loose side of tolerances. Have the oil thin out a slight bit and develop a knock. Nah I am with that.... supa, do you have any input on why they would be tight though I don't get it... considering the crank is fairly old and micropolished I don't understand how a standard bearin...

what did you end up going with? I know you ran your motor already and had that issue. I bought standard Clevites with micropolished crank and they actually specced out on the tightest clearance of oem spec I think it was 0.001". Im gonna try acl cause they don't have that coating
