Idk, i think drifting is comparably more inexpensive than road racing, autocross would probably be the most inexpensive. As said, events are cheaper (and more frequent/ more locations available) than road racing. If you're not incredibly serious as daigle stated, cheap used tires to burn are really...

Did someone just call drifting cheap? IMO drifting is the most expensive form of motorsports out there. I have no idea why people think its cheap. Nothing is more harsh on a motor, more abusive to tires and suspension and no form of racing is as prone to writing off a shell... drifting is fun,...

It had always been my practice to use a -3 line with no restrictor, and I never had a problem before. But having cooked 2 precision T3T4's, I had to look into the issue a bit more. Although it could have been an oiling problem, other turbo's were fine so i probably would just avoid precision in the ...

I was denied warantee on my precision turbo because I used a restrictor. According to the Precision techs, you should use a -4 line with NO restrictor with all bushing turbo's. The turbo needs oil flow to keep the center cool. If you add a restrictor to solve a smoking problem, you arent re-seating ...

Dropping the perches shouldnt effect stiffness. Spring rate determines how hard the ride is going to be, if you're preloading the springs enough to increase ride stiffness you are going to damage your shocks, you shouldnt put that much negative force on them. Automotive shocks do not have negative t...

I ran 25psi for about 2 months, then put it down to about 20lbs. I sold this car a few months ago though. I was running 9:1 DOHC wisecos which are roughly 7.8:1 in a SOHC motor. Colt Cams tri flow 2 cam. I was running a JDM sport GT35 then a Garrett T3 Super 60-1. I didnt get a chance to dyno it at ...

It isnt the power level, its the driver. 300whp starts to feel weak as heck after a couple weeks of motoring around every day. You put it in 3rd or 4th and wish you had another 200whp... I would love to daily drive a car that makes 1000whp. Ripping around in a 600whp KA isnt much different from some...

I cut up the doors on my S13, removed a bunch of metal and removed the rebar, you can take the weight on the steel doors down quite a bit. I also considered replacing the glass with lexan and just matching the profile with a router, but it would dangerous in a crash...you wouldnt get able to break i...

I dont want to get anyone too excited as I intend to take my time on this project. But I picked up a 95' 240 last night, high mileage, automatic and in pretty rough shape, however the body is straight and the price was right plus its 5 bolt and begging to be fixed up. I plan to strip it right down, ...

jordan, I wish you had pics with these rims in the light. the garage hides them. They didnt look bad, however the 10.5's in the rear were HEAVY. 55lbs with tires I believe. When I switched to the machined faced 03' cobra wheels they dropped down just over 10lbs each! I personally got tired of them ...
