I have not started to build my ka yet. I have built many other engines, mostly for circle track and mostly chevy small blocks. The one thing is i can say is that when they pop, and they will pop. The worst feeling in the world is opening one up and seeing the part you should have replaced in the bot...

My suggestion is to take and straighten the old one best you can before removal. If it is bent then it as pulled other parts out of alignment also. If you straighten it then it should move the other parts back to some degree. I have no idea how bad your damage is but a picture would be nice. I imagi...

You starved the engine of oil. No doubt the high G's of drifting pulled the oil away from the pick up. That really sucks!! Sounds like you lost the entire engine. Try one of these next time, http://accusump.com it works great on my old mans dirt latemodel, or modify an oil pan, something like this h...

Wide rim, narrow tire. Why? The object is to put as much rubber to the ground as you can. Im not really a big fan of staggered fittment either. You cannot rotate your tires and tires are not cheap these days. Find a tire size with a good price that will fit your needs, then pick some rims in the rig...

Theses work well on dirt circle track.
Try one of these. My Dad runs one on his Late Model Dirt car.

Pressure Check.
They make a tool, if thats what you can call it. Its like a little bicycle tire pump, with a hose and adapters to fit where the radiator cap goes. Just pump it up, and see if it holds. My dad has one, I will get a manfacturer name off of it.

Awesome
My dad uses Keith Black in his Late Model Dirt car. Very good company, They usually make some really lite weight products. I called them a few years ago and they said they could make anything I wanted. Wish I had a CNC machine. A nice harmonic balancer would be sweet, i.e. fluid damper or similar.

95-96 front bumper on a 97-98
Will it fit? Looks to me that it should, With the exception of the area beetween the headlights(grill inlet). I could do a little wack on that, as I have the insert for my kouki. Has anyone done this? Are the fender lengths the same length where the bumper attaches? The reason for doing this is I fo...
