ohh come on now, you didnt trash an entire motor by overheating it :D Pretty close to it. fried all 4 bearings, trashed the crank, grooved 2 cylinder walls, pushed bearing debris up into my new cams thus leaving some nice grooves in them from oil starvation and scarred the journals in the head. I s...

I'd vote for the Oil Pressure before the Water Temp considering we already have one in the cluster. Yes it's not very accurate but at least it's there and you can tell then it's not in it's normal operating range. let me know how that works for you, i lost a $3k engine because i relied on the stock...

I'd have to agree with Tiny... I dont know crap about pipe requirement for cages and the AD made it sound like 100% rice I wonder if this would pass at the local drag strip? If they used the right wall thickness material, and a bender that doesn't distort the tube in the bends and shrink the wall s...

This is a "look at me" cage "All Ebay Cages come in 1 5/8OD .134 Wall ERW mild steel for the hobbyist going after that formula D look." using the right materials and bender, how would a look at me cage vary from any other? they are bending and notching the tubes. im not supporti...

Run him. Just be careful, do what tiny says, keep a laptop handy and watch out for danger to manifold, last thing you want to do mid-race is lose the rivets in your floorboard. qft. i switched to 16 penny nails and oak for that panel underneath the floor mat. holds a lot better. one time i was raci...

I had one once but couldnt afford to change the glow plugs all the time. I also couldnt keep buying bf goodrich mud terrains all the time for it, I would just burn them off. 60 roll on the freeway? not happening. i tried slicks, but the knobs on the mud terrains worked so much better for roads with ...

Its how the push rods work in conjunction with the rotors. when 3 and 4 are firing 1 and 2 are spinning so fast they start to pump air at an alarming rate causing an imbalance in the motor. when this happens the crankshaft accounts for it in horizontal thrust leading to a huge increase in torque. sa...

Well I doubt you are gonna switch over to a spool of 308l or set up a purge system for one weld. so just weld it up and paint the weld with some high temp.

thanks yo. I didnt have to use a 12pt on the bolts putting them together. they have 3 little dots on the flange side and it holds it on the wheel. I cranked on the nuts and the stud didnt spin. Iv had them apart before and put them together like this and they didnt loosen at all.

whats not to trust? its not like the guy comes and welds the cage in to your car. Its up to you to ensure the fit and weld it/have it welded. As long as quality materials are used and the tubes fit well Im sure its fine.

forget that waste of money. you just need a hack saw, sheet metal, and a welder to convert it to a truck. gets rid of lots of weight ya, its that easy.
