Re: Electric Fan through Calum RT
are you opening fantemp.exe making the changes, saving the bin then re loading the bin to the ECU? that lil program is not RT so you have to upload the changes.
i set my hys. to 1 and the rest of the values the same. should obviously still work with your settings though.

Would also make since that when stored, any oil will drain out of the turbo, making it go dry. Dry seals crack. Supa- if you find a good rebuild kit/service for the HE351, let me know - i may be looking for one as well once I get my turbo on. Just have to wait and see. check out high tech turbo in ...

i actually only used sanding barrels at the end. craftsman sells an 8$ kit of 1/8" grinding bits (non carbide) one of them looks like an extruded pinwheel - basically a barrel with teeth running the length of it. it cuts a lot of material and doesn't cake up. it made my life super easy to rock ...

skip that overpriced jazz and go to midwest control products. they sell quality heims for around 8$ each. i run DXTML-16 on all arms front and back and have been running them for about 4-5 years. they don't last forever, but that's a heim for ya. every few years i replace em. then holla at Seals-it ...

im pretty sure a KA with just pistons and about 16psi would last forever. it really is getting affordable to go forged with these engined. under 800 for a rod/piston combo is cheap.... but thats also a lot of tires, event money and sweet parts. the struggle

you could certainly copy paste the timing/fuel values from the map and then rescale rpm and TP to match. adjusting the injector constant would shift you left or right on the map. you should have the injector constant such that you get stoich at cruise (and of course the latency should net stoich at ...

A properly setup clutch fan (I'm going with the GK Tech) with the fan shroud still intact will cool better than Altima fans. ...so you read.... guess whoes going to quantify that with data? :D all the old skool jdm bois say it so i believe it... but being an engineer i just gots to quantify it.
