True that. Although the ditches here aren't real ditches. I have driven through them before on purpose to turn around. lol And I am super-cautious when it comes to turns I haven't taken before. It helps alot! I usually drive something once or twice before i even think about giving it some throttle.

TWO EXES AMBER!!!!! or BUST!! I had this the other day and it was terrible. I expected more of a caramel-malt flavor from an amber beer. Instead it tasted like a watered down lager with lots of iron in it. This is by far the most metallic bottled beer i've ever tasted. That said, I still finished t...

Installing something like that on a KA crank would be a good one of those hard Chinese puzzels.

hmm not to threadjack but its weird cause I've never had to bleed my system. I burp it for like 5 mins tops and its perfect. Needle rests right on top of the "C".

I don't get it how people have to do it for 45mins and bleed it and what not.

Waco area. Thanks and yeah this shoot I only hit about 40mph. It was for the sole purpose of getting pics and I believe they turned out well.

I did a couple of high speed runs over a 5 mile route in Fall 2011 but they were quite risky...haven't done any more in the same place, probably wont ever.

The car definitely wont be my daily whenever I swap it. It is also auto right now as well. Probably going to do all of that at once after I get a daily. I typed values in a speed calc: with 4.6:1 FD and 205/55/16 @ 3500 rpm 1: 16mph 2: 29 3: 43 4: 56 5: 74 @6300 "redline" 1: 30mph 2: 53 3:...

Alright, thanks. I'm not looking forward to at all the day OEM 240sx parts stop existing completely. I believe the OEM upper chain was the last available one in my area.

I will let y'all know how it goes.

I used to be that way too but now I don't care...as much. The way the car looks are the least important to me right now. Don't get me wrong my gold bumper is getting really old and I'd LOVE to have all my dents and wrinkles out but they don't hinder my experience behind the wheel. It was fun. And I ...

Thanks for the link although I think a bit of that info MAY be incorrect. OEM parts are telling me 00-05 Xterra came with 4.375 and 4.625 as the rear final drive.

Thanks, all useful info! I do plan on swapping everything at once, as you said. I also plan to do so after I have acquired a driveshaft shop Al driveshaft. So probably will just get non-abs to make things simpler. And it would be good to have a back up diff. I am certain that I have ABS and I am als...

Right, I have the two long, plastic-ish guides (one curved and one straight) and the two tensioners. The top guide had been previously removed and the side guide will be removed if it hasn't already once I get into it.

aftermarket timing chain parts - help!

Ok so I'm about to do a nearly complete timing overhaul (chains, tensioners, and guides - no sprockets) and I have been seeing multiple times to ALWAYS use OEM guides. Is it that big of a deal? My car is not boosted and it is not a race vehicle by any chance, yet. Just wondering how big of a deal th...

If everything goes as planned I will be driving in a rallycross the weekend after next (21st) here in TX. Can't wait. Eventually I would like to turn the car into a RA G2 rally car. Need to finish my degrees first though.

I have never done it before but I believe it's right near where the upper radiator hose meets the engine.

burp it good, really good.

Sounds kinda like when my car overheated but my radiator cap wasn't even warm...it was weird. It was because the air bubble had moved under the radiator cap. Maybe the air bubble was resting on the temp sensor? But I doubt it. I would go for it being bad.

R200 - C200 questions

Is the R&P in the C200 Xterra diff exchangeable with the R200 R&P?

I have a 4.6 out of a Largo R200 but I would like a backup or for this to be my backup. C200 comes with a 4.625 in some models.

Thanks
