sooooo.. more math has me comming out to this... the stock 300zx coil dwell settings that i am using are giving me a clacualted .907ms of charge time.. now, if you were to change the dwell factor FROM 10 to 30 like i belive i read somone did ealrier that would change your dwell to 2.722 ms of charge...

you should start your own thread and ask these questions, but ill tell you one diff. in our wiring, mine grounds to the head NOT to the strut tower. with the 300zx dwell settings i could leave the car running in deffinetly and they never get warm as far as timing not matching could be your distribut...

super, if i were you i would call tims turbos and get the .63 housing, it wont choke the turbo up top and will spool a bit quicker than the .70 and, tims turbo inlcuded a new wled on flange for free so that alone was worth a good 10 bucks lol

thats currious you have burned up your coils using those 300zx coil dwell settings, i havent had one single issue burning up coils with those settings .. it makes me wonder if you might by chance have somthing wrong with your wiring or somthing in your dwell settings that is messing you up and im pr...

i for the record have my money on your timing not being synced with your motor.. sounds to me your motor is physically at 0 deg when the ecu thinks it is at 20deg hense how your motor hasn't puked its guts out

do a wot pull on a warmed up motor with FRESH PLUGS wind out 3rd or 4th gear and the turn the motor off as soon as you hit the max rpm your running DONT IDLE it and pull the plugs and post up pictrures of them try verry hard to include the porcolin of the plugs so we can see what that looks like..

i got the .63 housing for my hx40 from tims turbos, good dudes down there, and i paid 225$ SHIPPED with a weld on flange and the clamp kit along with the turbine housing.. not to bad if you ask me.. i would agree with sick s13 that it is a waste of time if you have the smaller hx35 turbine housing t...
