I'm having the same issue right now. Trying to get the car started after it has been sitting for sometime now. I am going to try to lower my fuel pressure down some to see if that makes a difference and also recheck my timing once again. I will be keeping my eyes on this thread to see if you come up...

Thanks for the reply. I did this check it Sat morning. I beleive that the CAS is fine after doing some more digging. I believe that I don't have a good ground from the engine to the frame. When I was turning the distributor by hand I was getting a weak spark from the ignition coil. What I did at tha...

C.A.S. issue
I will be testing my CAS on Friday to see if it is bad or good. I beleive it's bad because I have no spark and my injectors are not opening. So I just want to know, if the ECU says everything is good(code 55), could my CAS still be bad? It's a s13 dual cam.

fuel spark issue
Well I am at the last stage of getting my car running. The part where I put the key in and turn it. Saturday I primed the engine with oil, and then I set my fuel pressure with the FPR to 33psi. I then crank the car over several times and it did not even sound like it wanted to start. I pulled out a ...

Here's a little up date on the car. It still dose not run because I don't have any more time to spend on the car. I did manage to find time to mount my gauges and my fuel filter. All I have to do now is add fluids, pump out gas tank, and make the fuel lines then it will be running! Here are my gauge...

If you have a welder and a cut off wheel, just notch the back side of it. Then box it back in. I don't have a good picture but I did this to my car, http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg271/hersheskuirt/engine%20build/get-attachment.jpg The best one I have, I will try to get a better one if no one e...

I am running my MAF the same way. Well I will be running my MAF the same way once the car is running. The only difference is that my BOV is right before the TB. Will this cause the car to run rich when the BOV opens? If so I guess I need to change it to a new place. http://i250.photobucket.com/albu...

First I would start off by asking my self is the car going to be daily driven or is it going to be a weekend warrior/track car. If it's going to be a daily and your only car to drive I would go with one that is sprung. But if the car is going to be driven mostly on the weekends or track and you have...

I have the S15 diff. My car was (and will be soon) daily driven. Driving down the road, through parking lots, or just some really slow turns you have thought the car had an open diff. For daily driving this is probably your best choice. You can have fun with it as much as you want, there is no clutc...

I have been messing with the car a little bit here and there. Wish I had more time and money to go in to this so I could finish sooner. I got the motor in on Sunday, and finaly got to mess with it a little more today. There is just not enough time in the day. After getting the motor in on Sunday. ht...
