expect between $2000 and $4000 for a turbo setup depending on choices of parts. If you plan on building a motor up, it could cost anywhere between $1500 and $3000 with machining, assembly and parts. The KA-T.org site has been up for like 8 months but the actual forums have been for less. Rick switch...
hey
its gonna be worth it to me. Most people start off lower and then try to upgrade later but its definitely gonna have some lag compared to a standard t3/t04e but the airflow is nuts!
If not you could buy my t3/t04e. Something to think about.

the F-Max is a side mount manifold so if you order a SC61, use the 3" t04e inlet standard option. Otherwise, the T04S 4" optional compressor will hit against the manifold with the F-Max kit. Expect full boost more around like 5100 rpm. Thats what im finding out now. Enjuku uses the SC61 on...
hey
mine is set at 7100 rpm or 7200 rpm. I cant remember which one but I usually try to shift like 200 rpm sooner than that.
You dont want a higher rev limiter than 7200 rpm because of unwanted vibrations.

hey
its prolly like 4500 rpm or 4700 rpm full boost.
hey
hmm,
not sure yet. I know its prolly gonna be a lil past 4000 rpm compared to my t3/t04e getting full boost at 3700 rpm.
I dont mind a little lag. It makes it even cooler!

hey
all of the ones i listed will work since the sc61 uses a t3 turbine flange.
Here's a manifold that alot of people are starting to buy(ETD Racing):

hey
all those turbos should get you to 400 whp. The Precision SC61 does have a lil more lag compared to a t3/t04e but it will take less boost on the SC61 to reach that power level. If you want less lag than a SC61, just go for a t3/t04e 50 trim or 60 trim compressor with a .63 ar and you should be set. ...
hey
the SC61 uses a t3 turbine flange and 5bolt turbonetics style downpipe flange.
I think the website is:

hey
Precision SC61!
Thats what I would get if I were to upgrade.
I would use the t04e housing option though on my car since there's not much clearance between my compressor housing and manifold right now.
T04S compressor housing would never fit on my car.

the GT series turbo could be a good option but you have to examine how many exhaust manifolds are availabe pre made with a T25 flange. You could buy a JGS manifold and custom weld the T25 flange. The Greddy turbop kits are upgradeable to. You could facilitate their manifold, downpipe and such and ch...
hey
not sure. I havent heard alot from people about quality of items and such.
But, I have heard that people are having trouble with the E-Manage. Maybe its just harder for most of the amateur people that buy the kit to tune it.

hey
t3/t04e 60 trim compressor and .63 ar or .82 ar
it should get you there.
