lmao... boyce 1, opponent 0. In everything I read it became apparent that boyce was able to provide helpful information with personal experience and direct references to back it. On the other hand, wiisass provided a counterargument founded in opinion and put up a good amount of numbers to seem con...

No hard feelings, I wasnt arguing how suspension works. I was suggesting that adjustiblity is the key to low-end racing. Not everone has a research team, tools, money to build full blown race cars. (especially in low-end scca). That is the end, I didnt feel like carrying a discussion about suspensio...

Well obviously my points missed their target. I was kind of hoping for a real discussion, but I guess it's hard to have an good discussion by myself. You typed a lot of words, but there's nothing of value in them. You didn't answer any of my questions, so I'm going to assume they were over your hea...

now, i agree with you (may the gods of logic and good hygiene not strike me down for that!) that what boyce said was a little uncalled for. usually we only talk mad **** like that to people we consider friends, HOWEVER, as soon as you came back with not one, but TWO posts calling him names, and doi...

You only need maximum adjustability if you haven't put any design work into your suspension setup. If you know what you need and what you can get, you don't need to be able to adjust everything all over the place. I do think that adjustability is nice, but the only amount of adjustability you shoul...

Yes softer springs/stiffer anti-roll bars or stiffer springs, softer anti-roll bar works depending on how you want the car to feel. full on roadcourse car I would suggest a medium anti-roll bar or adjustable + a mid range spring rate, as to allow for MAXIMUM adjustability, this is why SCCA 240sx car...

Listen to AceInHole, he knows what he's talking about. Sway bars at this point are just a bandaid for poor springs. You need stiffer springs if you want the car to handle well. The front sway bar is already too stiff and doesn't need to be upgraded. Tim Stock anti-roll bar is not more than enough o...

Every motor that leaves my shop leaves with a ATI balancer on it. I won't build a motor without one. guys - this discussion turned into a crank pulley discussion and I was proposing not the crank pulley, but the other accesories out there - also, the skyline community will not run the ATI pulley on...

Re: Clarification
Well guys to clear up somethings. It's real carbon Fiber I don't like the imitation and it does stick on and last for years and years. I have another set in green carbon fiber but its for s14 that I am selling. My cousin makes the dash trim kits for a living and we do actual carbon fiber wrapping ....

Re: power steering
Anyone ever use an electric power steering setup They make electric water pumps for domestics also. My old mk2 mr2 turbo had ehps.. you could probally steal a pump from one and rig it on a 240 and totally ditch the stock PS pump, braket, pulley, belt, etc. well.. it would run all the time, but mayb...

I dont know if it would be in diagnostics for 3 weeks. I have also tried a different ecu with the same result. Im thinking its in the wiring but im too lazy to rip it apart. Well start at step 1 and work your way through like I did. Test all sensors that would affect idle per fsm, then check wiring...

spending $700+ on a fly wheel and clutch seams kind of a waste on an NA or even a T25/28 setup. the fidanza flywheel on an NA is a great upgrade so defenatly get that. as far as the clutch just get a cheap XTD just break it in right then beat the **** out of it. it dosent make sense to me to spend ...

I dont have the dohc PS pulley to compare, buy the sohc is extremely small and light. I dont care enough to not remove my PS let alone a pulley, 240 has a moderate scrub angle due to macpherson strut front setup. What about fabbing up a aluminum and/or steel driveshaft for cheaper than competition.....

but who cares when you can mod you STOCK kade injectors to 620 cc's for 80 bucks? I care, let me tell you why: the stock sohc fuel rail looks ***** STUPID. Sure the function is there, what not. But man is it ugly, it looks like some dude named bob in ohio made it with parts from a 197...
