Re: New Project: Mild build

. Thanks Adam, I'm diggin' that tittle, hah. Steering bind is a super scary thing. It usually is more common when steering geometry is messed with; although, it is possible with mostly OEM components. I would check your "universal joint" (the joint where the steering shaft/column connects ...

. Hi everyone, looks like everyone is making progress on their builds. I just wanted to check in with some updates on this project. Been a nightmare as always...where to start....hmmm. 1. Switched out the V2 knuckles. The spindle is very difficult to get off because nylon lock nuts are used and the ...

Looking good! That's how the excessive pan should have been made to begin with in my opinion. So what's next? throw some paint on the rear of the pan, put everything back together and check for leaks?

. So here is the result: http://i627.photobucket.com/albums/tt352/cleantune2/IMG_0853_zpsd59ea70n.jpg The steering rack mounting points were moved forward about 25mm. There is still room to access the front two holes for steering rack bracket bolts. The old steering rack had been leaking for a while...

As of right now all the halves are together though and lockwire is installed. Still need to clean and then reinstall the pistons and seals. Also, had some ...

Does it still work (with new bulbs? There was a video by Nori Yaro on youtube, in which an R32 used....

Man, sorry to hear that. Tubular would be a great solution; could even have the tubular front attached with a sleeved bolt in kind of setup for quick change/removal. Swapping engines would be a breeze, hah. As I'm sure you know, these tube front ends and front bash bars can also be designed to purpo...

AEM series 1 what is the bare minimum needed to work

Hi everyone, I was looking at the wire clutter in the engine bay the other day and started asking myself: "how much of this stuff is really being used by the aftermarket ECU?". I was discussing this with someone who is running a Pro EFI standalone (which can utilize an O2 sensor input) and...

Wow, you're really moving along with this project! That is such a great idea to use clear plastic tubing to get the angle correct. Those welds look waay better than mine would, hah. If you don't mind me asking, what voltage are you running with the welder? 120 or 240? and are you using shielding gas?

EPA Seeks to Prohibit the Conversion of Vehicles to Racecars

Currently there are over 130,000 signatures. Lets continue to make this vote unanimous. This would put many race series out of business ...
