I'm not sure of any folks around here, but maybe someone will pipe up :) This is mostly a ROM tune, Nistune, Megasquirt or AEM crowd.

I've been running nismotronic on my dd for several months now. My car is not turbo, but I did switch over to map sensor.

It was a huge improvement over my previous calumRT setup. I absolutely love it and recommend it over nistune.

Do you mind elaborating on why you prefer it over Nistune?

Oh, I didn't know that.
Thanks for the update.

The only small issue I see with nismotronic is that you have to use a S13 ecu, which brings up the price if you have an S14.

But it seems that in the long run it's worth it with the added benefits.

Not sure why people don't just get megasquirt , it's easy to tune, reliable, and has so much more potential compared to the rest.

If I'm not mistaken, alot of wiring is involved with megasquirt and that might be the deterrent.

Wrong my friend, it's plug and play now....unless you guys consider running a vacuum line and GM IAT sensor "lots of wiring".

I'm glad that they made it plug and play.

I'll have to look into that.

You don't need an S13 ECU with a KA24DE, unless you want to convert to COP. NismotronicSA will run a KA-T just fine with a KA24DE ECU, including boost control (and/or boost-by-gear) using the existing AIV output.
