300zx four piston caliper upgrade

Post by Ihiryu »

I remember reading somewhere awhile back you can still use the 300zx calipers on a four lug 240. Can anyone shine some light onto that??

Indeed you can, BUT you'll have to have them drilled for the 4 lug hubs.

You need:

Z32 Front Calipers w/ All Hardware and Pads.
Z32 Front Rotors(Re-Drilled)
Z32/240SX Conversion SS Front Lines(SPL Parts or 240SXMotoring)
Z32 Rear Calipers w/ All Hardware and Pads.
Z32 Rear Rotors(Re-Drilled)
Z32/240SX Conversion SS Rear Lines(SPL Parts or 240SXMotoring)
Z32 Rear E-Brake Crums w/ cables.
Some D-Clamp things from a hardware store for linking stock Ebrake to the Z32s
Z32 Brake Master Cylinder

Thats all you need for all 4 corners.

Well on stock SE rims(S13) youll need some spacers.

"holy cow!!!! what size rotors are you using? thats pretty sweet you have them with the stock rims."

David is using the stock Rotors re-drilled.

There are two types of S13 wheels. One type has a single brace behind each spoke and can fit the 26mm calipers without spacers. The other has two symmetrical braces on each spoke and cannot fit the 26mm calipers.

I cant find the site with pics (silbeer.com??), but I think I have it correct.
