Has anyone bought the new HKS ssqv3 bov? If so what is your feedback on it?

You looking to recirculate, or vent to atmosphere?

Because if you want to VTA, tial is the way to go. I've seen people switch from ssqv to tial, but never the other way around.

I think they're obnoxious, unless you take the insert out. Then they don't sound too bad.

I like DSM and Evo BOVs. Cheap and hold a lot of boost. Who cares what it sounds like.

They work awesome, and unless you have a blow through mafs i would definitely recirculate it.

Unless you are running over 20psi with a huge intake manifold plenum, and 3" i/c piping i think the dsm bov will be fine. Put the bov on, then do a boost leak test (at a couple psi more than you plan on running) and put your hand over the discharge making sure it's not leaking. If it is, put it in a vice and crush the top a little, then retest.

I also like the Greddy Type RS. The SSQV is just annoying to me but im sure the performance on it IS awesome!!!

....but Ive never heard anything bad about Tial's products. My friend is running a 50mm Tial BOV on his SR at 23psi and its working PERFECT!

a bov is really all up to you...whether you want performance, look or the sound. Personally I've runned a couple of ssqv bovs and they held up to 25psi fine...the latest bov I run was a Blitz DD and it was great also. Just don't get crappy ebay bov...they'll leak and break causing boost leaks...well most of them
